Digimon Pendulum COLOR (デジモンペンデュラムCOLOR Dejimon Pendyuramu Karā) is the remake, colored-version of Digimon Pendulum series, the second series of the Digimon Virtual Pet line. Unlike its predecessor, it has a faster training speed and re-enhanced user support functions, such as Cold Mode and Backup System. Additionally, it also has a rechargeable battery and can be charged by using the USB Type-C. Versions 6 (Saiyu Warriors) and 7 (Toho Braves) are the first newly numbered Pendulum devices since the release of the original Pendulum series.

Set-Up and Game Play

Special Features

The Digimon Pendulum COLOR 6 Saiyu Warriors and 7 Toho Braves have the special feature of "Mode Changes". While battling, certain Digimon can Mode Change to special forms during their attack animation by fulfilling certain conditions. They return back to their normal state after the battle. Saiyu Warriors features Erlangmon: Blast Mode, Takutoumon: Wrath Mode, and Nezhamon: Crimson Mode, whereas Toho Braves features Ravmon: Burst Mode.

Yihumon, Taotiemon, and Taowumon are included in the Saiyu Warriors and Toho Braves as Digimon that only appear in Quest Battles.

Another feature specific to Saiyu Warriors and Toho Braves is the "Cut-in" that will play before Quest Battles and can be viewed with the album function. The Cut-in feature returns for the Godzilla Edition device.

Trivia

• Versions 1 through 5 and ZERO feature the various Fields previously featured in the original Digimon Pendulum series and the Pendulum Z & Z II devices.
  • Versions 6 and 7 depict specific locations in Shambala in a similar manner to the ecosystems of Fields, however Saiyu Warriors and Toho Braves are not referred to as Fields. The July 2026 edition of V-Jump referred to these as depicting ecosystems derived from Journey to the West and Chinese mythology (referring to version 6), as well as from Japanese yokai and mythology (referring to version 7).
• The Digimon Card Game features a number of cards based on each of these devices, and their respective theming, with various traits to categorize them as from a particular Field or Pendulum theme. This includes the NSp, DS, NSo, WG, ME, VB, SW, and TB traits.
