A Tankmon appears resting outside the haven for travelling Digimon in "Jyagamon, Potato Hell". When Izumi Koshiro and Tentomon go to it, they find it sleeping, as it is a Mercenary Digimon that's currently off-duty.
Several Tankmon and a Deckerdramon reacted to the attack of a group of Soundbirdmon in "The Angels' Determination". The Tankmon were then absorbed by the void in "The Great Catastrophe, Negamon", with Deckerdramon close to them.
After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", Machmon had a race against Rebellimon. Close to them, Etemon and Volcamon rode a Tankmon as two Kiwimon, who carried their Gazimon fans dressed as Etemon, followed them.

A Tankmon was one of the spectators of the Colosseum's DigiOne Grand Prix in Sub-Episode 10, "DigiOne Grand Prix".
A Megadramon and an army of Tankmon were sent by Mugendramon to patrol the Urban Area in Episode 56, "Bombing Mission! Mugendramon".
Tankmon appears as a random encounter starting from Episode 56, "Bombing Mission! Mugendramon". It can deal damage to one Digimon with Hyper Cannon, deal damage and Shock to one Digimon with Hell Drive, or deal multiple hits to the entire party with Machine Gun Arm.
