A Machine Digimon which functions as the riot-suppression and assault-extermination for the mechanized "D-Brigade". It specializes in the extermination of hordes of "Targets", and it boasts overwhelming firepower. It is equipped with radar which is able to lock onto thirty "Targets" simultaneously, and if one Tankdramon supplements its "Targets" by data-linking to other Tankdramon, it is said to be impossible to escape. Also, its mission survival rate is very high, and it is said that so far only one has ever been shot down during a sortie. Its Special Move is its "Striver Cannon" firing a shell loaded with a mini-nuke, reducing everything within a 30 km radius to scorched earth. Also, in close-combat it uses the "Blast Gatling" beside its cannon, which can fire all 3600 bullets in one second.

Digimon Next[edit]

Tankdramon is one of the Commandments. He attacks Middle Town to kill all Digimon remaining in it. Because of that, he faces Tatsuno Tsurugi, Inui Yuu, Agumon and Gaomon, serving as their first Perfect-level opponent, and his actions cause Tsurugi's anger to rise, allowing Agumon to evolve into Geo Greymon for the first time. He's then beaten by Geo Greymon's Horn Impulse by attacking his weak point, the armour on top of his body.[14]

Several other Tankdramon are also shown to be part of the Commandments.[15]
