Appearances[edit]
Anime[edit]
Digimon Adventure 02: Digimon Hurricane Touchdown!! Supreme Evolution!! The Golden Digimentals[edit]
Seraphimon is the partner of Takaishi Takeru. Angemon and Angewomon evolve to Seraphimon and Holydramon in an attempt to defeat Cherubimon, and release the Digimental of Miracles and the Digimental of Fate for use by V-mon and Terriermon.
Digimon Frontier[edit]
Seraphimon is a member of the Three Archangels who protect the Digital World.
Before the start of the series, Seraphimon was severely wounded by Cherubimon, and then taken by Ofanimon to the Forest Terminal and imprisoned in crystal to heal, guarded by Sorcerimon. In "Awaken Seraphimon! The Secret of The Ten Legendary Warriors", the Chosen Children arrive at the Forest Terminal, are taken to Seraphimon's chamber by Sorcerimon, and use the light of their D-Scanners to release him. However, Mercuremon and the other members of the Warrior Ten who serve Cherubimon infiltrate the castle and attack the group. Seraphimon attempts to protect the Chosen Children and uses his Seven Heavens attack, but Mercuremon's Generous Mirror reflects it back at Seraphimon, instantly defeating him and reverting him into a Digitama. Mercuremon scans Seraphimon's Digicode, but Orimoto Izumi catches Seraphimon's Digitama and the group escapes with it on Trailmon Kettle.
In "Takuya's Fusion Evolution, Aldamon's Explosive Attack!", Mercuremon uses Seraphimon's Digicode to evolve himself into Black Seraphimon. When Takuya defeats him, Seraphimon's Digicode is returned to his Digitama, and he is reborn as a Patamon, who accompanies the Chosen Children for the rest of the series.
Seraphimon briefly reappears in "Go Beyond Time! The Beginning of a New Legend" as a spirit emerging from Patamon, along with Ofanimon and Cherubimon, to encourage the Chosen Children to defeat Lucemon.
Digimon Adventure tri.[edit]
Seraphimon is the partner of Takaishi Takeru. Patamon first evolves to this form in "Loss" to assist Hououmon and Herakle Kabuterimon in destroying Mugendramon. Patamon later returns to this form in the final battle against Ordinemon.
Digimon Adventure:[edit]
Seraphimon is Takaishi Takeru's Partner Digimon.
Patamon was originally Seraphimon in the past, and used the form to fight against Millenniumon and its Dark Digimon army alongside the other Holy Digimon and the Ultimate forms of the other Partner Digimon. However, he got trapped in a dark abyss, which corrupted him into becoming Black Seraphimon, before devolving into Holy Angemon and then Angemon, as shown in flashbacks in "Soaring Hope".
In "A Place to Return To", after Gravimon caught Takeru and El Doradimon after they fell off Cloud Continent, and Gravimon and Angemon reminded Takeru about how he would not give up and about his shining hope, Holy Angemon emanated a Seraphimon aura around him, which then gave El Doradimon wings, allowing it to finally return home.
Holy Angemon and Angewomon Ultimate Evolved into Seraphimon and Ofanimon, respectively, in "The Angels' Determination", after explaining how light and darkness exist alongside order and harmony and daring the Great Catastrophe, evil enough to even deceive darkness, to behold their light of hope. Deathmon (Black), who had tried to kill them earlier alongside anyone else in the same space as the Crest monoliths, immediately shot them with its Death Arrow, which was completely ineffective. Seraphimon and Deathmon then attacked each other with Seven Heavens and Explosion Eye, respectively, with the former winning their clash and boring into Deathmon's skin. Ofanimon then charged at it, with Deathmon attempting to stop her with another Death Arrow which could not go through her shield, and Ofanimon pierced through Deathmon with her Eden's Javelin, destroying its eye and killing it.
After being swallowed by one of Abbadomon's tentacles in "The Last Miracle, the Last Power", Seraphimon is freed by Done Devimon, who was able to manifest himself from his left arm.
Regressing to Devimon, he finally recognized the answer his old friend had arrived at.
Manga[edit]
Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01[edit]
After Arkadimon Child is able to escape from his Heaven's Gate, Holy Angemon removes the seal from his own body, evolving into Seraphimon. Although initially capable of causing serious damage to the enemy with its Seven Heavens, the Seraph is caught off guard by an attack from the Child level Digimon, which is responded by another Seven Heavens, although Arkadimon is able to resist evolving to the Adult level. Seraphimon is then easily dominated by the enemy, who begins to devour his data, making him regress to Holy Angemon. Thanks to Seraphimon's energy, Arkadimon would be able to quickly evolve to his Perfect level.
In "Continuing Courage", Holy Angemon this time evolves into Dominimon. Saiba Neo deduces that Holy Angemon trained to develop this new form after his previous defeat.
Digimon Chronicle X[edit]
When Doumoto Kouta and Musha Yuuji gather several Digimon to fight for the Old Digital World, the Three Archangels, who are watching from their position in the Kernel, are moved by Kouta's speech about protecting the future.
While Seraphimon is in charge of protecting the Kernel, Ofanimon (X-Antibody) and Cherubimon (Virtue) (X-Antibody) joins the army gathered by the boys.

Seraphimon plays the Heaven's Door deck, a Green/Nature deck with 4 attack, defense, and evolution speed that's well-balanced. Upon being defeated, he says he found a new light in this world, and encourages the player to keep walking his own path to find his answers.

Behind the green door, the Chosen Children found Pinochimon. Takeru and Patamon wanted to take care of him to show how strong they became.
