The Digimental of Miracles (奇跡のデジメンタル Kiseki no Dejimentaru; Dub: Digi-Egg of Miracles[N 1]) is a Digimental that is used to induce Armor Evolution.

Overview[edit]

Design[edit]

Like other Armor Evolution Digimentals, the Digimental of Miracles is a bulky object. It is made of Chrome Digizoid,[1] is boxy and angular in shape, and bears a very strong resembles to the armor of one of the Digimon that it creates, Magnamon, including having identical feet. A symbol is inscribed on its top; the Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth games call this symbol the Crest of Miracles奇跡の紋章」, although such a Crest otherwise generally does not exist.[2]

Effects[edit]

The Digimental of Miracles contains the elemental attribute of Metal 「メタル」, and it is this elemental power from which Digimon who use this Digimental to Armor Evolve draw their power.[3] Armor Digimon who have used the Digimental of Miracles are granted metal-based abilities and tremendous defensive prowess.[4] It is fittingly known as a "Miracle Item" 「ミラクルアイテム」, as the miraculous power that it bestows upon its users enables them to overcoming any predicament that they may face.[1]

It appears to be capable of granting exceptional power compared to most other Digimentals: the Armor Digimon most frequently associated with it, Magnamon, possesses power equal to or even surpassing that of Ultimate Digimon.[1]

Digimon Adventure 02[edit]

During the Chosen Children's final raid on the Digimon Kaiser's mobile base, the Four Holy Beasts deem it necessary to provide the group with the power of the Digimental of Miracles in order to lead the Kaiser/Ichijouji Ken back from the darkness. To this end, just as Wormmon shows Motomiya Daisuke the base's power source—the Crest of Kindness, tainted by darkness and turned into a blackened version of this Digimental—the Holy Beasts transform the Crest into the true Digimental of Miracles, which disconnects itself from the base, emerges from its blackened shell, and unleashes a wave of light that tears apart the power core surrounding it and empowers Chibimon to evolve back into V-mon.[6][15]

The Digimental of Miracles levitates into Daisuke's hands as he hears a mysterious voice, and Daisuke activates it to Armor Evolve V-mon into Magnamon.[6] Using the Digimental's power and with Wormmon's help, Magnamon defeats the Kaiser's Chimairamon, leading to Ken snapping out of the Kaiser persona. After he devolves from Magnamon, the Digimental of Miracles reverts into the Crest of Kindness.[16]

Yagami Hikari observes that the Digimental of Miracles must be special compared to the other Digimentals, and Tailmon realizes that its appearance from the Crest of Kindness, and use in bringing Ken back from the darkness, is what Wizarmon had meant by the words "kindness will release the golden light."[16]

The Digimental of Miracles appears before Motomiya Daisuke.

Digimon Adventure 02: Vol. 2: Transcendent Evolution!! The Golden Digimentals[edit]

During the final confrontation with Chocomon's Cherubimon (Vice) form at Summer Memory in the summer of 2002, Seraphimon and Holydramon manifest the Digimental of Miracles, along with the Digimental of Fate, and pass the Digimental of Miracles on to Motomiya Daisuke. Daisuke activates it and Armor Evolves V-mon into Magnamon, who together with Rapidmon stands up to and, ultimately, euthanizes Cherubimon.

Manga[edit]

Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01[edit]

During the final battle with Parallelmon, Inoue Miyako, Hida Iori, Takaishi Takeru and Yagami Hikari use their D-3s to send their strength, feelings and encouragement to Motomiya Daisuke's D-3, along with those of all the other Tamers that Parallelmon had captured, in the form of the Digimental of Miracles. Once he and Yagami Taichi turn the tide against Parallelmon, Daisuke uses the Digimental to Armor Evolve V-mon into Magnamon, to finish Parallelmon off.[17]

Video Games[edit]

Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers[edit]

The Digimental of Miracles is an obtainable item of the Armor category. Equipping it on a Digimon has three possible effects:

  • If equipped by a V-mon (including the temporary partner V-mon), it teaches V-mon the Plasma Shoot technique the next time that a battle is won. After this point, as long as the Digimental is equipped, V-mon can use Plasma Shoot to briefly Armor Evolve into Magnamon, who performs the technique before immediately reverting back into V-mon.
  • It increases the equipper's resistance to Mind techniques.
  • Like any other Digimental, having it equipped on Digimon will, depending on their Digitama line, cause them to evolve into a different Adult, Perfect or Ultimate Digimon than they would have without a Digimental equipped.

The Digimental of Miracles must be rebuilt by taking three Miracles Fragments—which can be found in the Water Cave 2, Fire Cave 2 and Plume Cave 2 dungeons on Akiyama Ryo's side, the Machine Base dungeon on Ichijouji Ken's side, and both sides' versions of Death Crevasse—to Centalmon's Digimental Shop. Alternatively, the player may receive it by trading with compatible video and LCD games.

Digimon Adventure 02: D-1 Tamers[edit]

The Digimental of Miracles is an obtainable item of the Digimental category. Equipping it on a Digimon has two possible effects:

  • If equipped by a V-mon (including the temporary partner V-mon), it grants access to the Plasma Shoot Armor Evolution technique in V-mon's sixth technique slot. When used, V-mon briefly Armor Evolves into Magnamon, who performs Plasma Shoot before immediately reverting back into V-mon.
  • Like any other Digimental, having it equipped on Digimon will, depending on their Digitama line, cause them to evolve into a different Adult, Perfect or Ultimate Digimon than they would have without a Digimental equipped.

The Digimental of Miracles can be purchased from Centalmon's Digimental Shop after purchasing the shop's second and final upgrade from Clockmon, or received by trading with compatible video and LCD games.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]

The Digimental of Courage is the V-mon Partner Card's third unlockable Digimental. Once it has been acquired, the player is given the option to, when playing V-mon, use the Digimental to Armor Evolve it free of charge.

If V-mon was chosen as the player's first or third partner, the Digimental of Miracles is obtained in the post-game; after 100% completing the post-game content and scoring 300 wins, Black War Greymon will give it to the player if spoken with in Beginner City's Battle Café. If V-mon was not chosen as a partner, it is obtained by winning nine repeated matches against Motomiya Daisuke, including being challenged to win using Daisuke's own deck in the ninth match.

During the Colosseum 40th floor Free Battle: "Radiance of Miracles", Motomiya Daisuke uses the Digimental of Miracles to Armor Evolve V-mon into Magnamon. After his defeat, the Digimental of Miracles resonates with Taiga's Digivice, which registers its data, unlocking Magnamon as an evolution for Digimaru.

It also appears as a collectable card.

D-3[edit]

The Digimental of Miracles is a collectible item that the player uses in battle to Armor Evolve their Digimon. All six playable Digimon are capable of using it:

Unlike most other Digimentals, there is no way to obtain Digimental of Miracles in a D-3 by itself. It can only be traded onto the device from a compatible game or device, such as the D-Terminal or Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers.

D-Terminal[edit]

Digimentals of Miracles may be created through the fusion of the following combinations of either Digimon from the Reference Book, or other Digimentals:[18]

Digimentals of Miracles may be traded with compatible games and devices. Notably, Bandai advertised the D-Terminal, and its ability to trade Digimentals with the D-3, as a way for D-3s to access this Digimental.[19]

D-3 Digivice (International)[edit]

The Digi-Egg (Digimental) of Miracles is a collectible item that is used in battle to Armor Digivolve (Armor Evolve) Veemon (V-mon) into Magnamon. Unlike the Japanese D-3 line, none of the other playable Digimon may use it.

Using the Digi-Egg of Miracles does not incur a D-Power point cost and can be done without limitation, but if used, there is a small chance that it may break after a battle, regardless of its outcome, requiring it to be re-obtained.

On the D-3 Digivice Version 1, the player may be given a chance to obtain the Digi-Egg of Miracles after defeating the final boss, Azulongmon (Qinglongmon). If other prerequisites are met, Baihumon appears for a bonus battle, and defeating it awards the player with the Digi-Egg for use in their next lap of the quest mode.[20]
