The Digimental of Fate (運命のデジメンタル Unmei no Dejimentaru; Dub: Digi-Egg of Destiny[N 1]) is a Digimental that is used to induce Armor Evolution.

Design[edit]
Like other Armor Evolution Digimentals, the Digimental of Fate is a bulky, loosely egg-shaped object. It is shaped like an golden ball topped with a single wing, and bears a passing resembles to one of the Digimon that it creates, Rapidmon Armor. A symbol is inscribed on its surface; the Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth games call this symbol the "Crest of Fate," although such a Crest otherwise generally does not exist.[1]

The elemental attribute of the Digimental of Fate is unknown.[2] It appears to be capable of granting Digimon who Armor Evolve using it exceptional power compared to most other Digimentals: the two Armor Digimon most frequently associated with it, Rapidmon Armor and Gold V-dramon, are both capable of channeling up to Ultimate-class power,[3][4] although Rapidmon is not able to do so consistently unless it X-Evolves into Rapidmon (X-Antibody) and has the X-Antibody further draw out the Digimental of Fate's power.[5]

Digimon Adventure 02: Vol. 2: Transcendent Evolution!! The Golden Digimentals[edit]
During the final confrontation with Chocomon's Cherubimon (Vice) form at Summer Memory in the summer of 2002, Seraphimon and Holydramon manifest the Digimental of Fate, along with the Digimental of Miracles, and pass the Digimental of Fate on to Wallace. With Motomiya Daisuke's guidance, Wallace activates it and Armor Evolves Gummymon/Terriermon into Rapidmon, who together with Magnamon stands up to and, ultimately, euthanizes Cherubimon.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth & Hacker's Memory[edit]
The Digimental of Fate is a key item in both games. Having it is one of the evolution requirements to perform the following evolutions:
- Terriermon → Rapidmon Armor
Other evolution requirements: Level is 50 or higher; Attack is 100 or higher; Defense is 120 or higher; Intelligence is 120 or higher; Ability is 20 or higher; Camaraderie is 50% or higher - Guardromon (Gold) → Rapidmon Armor

Hacker's Memory and compilation rereleases only
It is not consumed in the evolution, so Rapidmon Armor can be evolved into any number of times.
In Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, the Digimental of Fate is one of the rewards for completing the post-game case "Great Challenge ①," in which the player must defeat a Rapidmon Armor; in solo releases of Cyber Sleuth, aside from the Digimental, evolving into Rapidmon Armor is also locked until this case is cleared, but this restriction is lifted in compilation rereleases. In Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory, the Digimental of Fate is dropped by Aloof Hacker Kazuyoshi's Rapidmon Armor after defeating it in the EDEN Free Area during the "Beat Aloof Hacker Kazuyoshi!" Blacklisted Hacker case.
