The Digimental of Kindness (優しさのデジメンタル Yasashisa no Dejimentaru; Dub: Digi-Egg of Kindness) is a Digimental that is used to induce Armor Evolution.
Overview[edit]
Design[edit]
Like other Armor Evolution Digimentals, the Digimental of Kindness is a bulky, loosely egg-shaped object. It is the only Digimental which does not resemble the body or armor of any of the Armor Digimon who are created using it. Instead, it resembles a rose. Its corresponding Crest, the Crest of Kindness, is inscribed on its surface.

The Digimental of Kindness is considered to be shrouded in mystery, and its elemental attribute is unknown. It has been observed that many of the Armor Digimon that result from using it take the form of cute animals.[1]

Digimon Adventure 02: Armor Evolution to the Unknown[edit]
In order to snap Motomiya Daisuke out of his "Daisuke Kaiser" persona despite the Dark Tower preventing him from using conventional evolution, Ichijouji Ken, with the support of Takenouchi Sora, Tachikawa Mimi, Yagami Hikari and their Digimon, miraculously transforms his Crest of Kindness into the Digimental of Kindness through the power of his self-confidence and affection for his friends. He activates the Digimental and Armor Evolves Wormmon into Pucchiemon, who purifies Daisuke's heart[9] and assists the others in fighting Pukumon.[10]

Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers[edit]
The Digimental of Kindness is an obtainable item of the Armor category. Equipping it on a Digimon has two possible effects:
- It increases the equipper's resistance to Gas techniques.
- Like any other Digimental, having it equipped on Digimon will, depending on their Digitama line, cause them to evolve into a different Adult, Perfect or Ultimate Digimon than they would have without a Digimental equipped.
Despite its abilities in other media, the Digimental of Kindness does not have any Armor Evolution-related effect at all in Tag Tamers.
The Digimental of Kindness must be rebuilt by taking three Kindness Fragments—which can be found in the Ocean Cave dungeon on Ichijouji Ken's side, as well as both Ken and Akiyama Ryo's sides' versions of the Water Cave—to Centalmon's Digimental Shop. Alternatively, the player may receive it by trading with compatible video and LCD games.

The Digimental of Kindness is a key item. Having it is one of the evolution requirements to perform the following evolutions:
- Galgomon → Prairiemon
Other evolution requirements: Level is 27 or higher
It is not consumed in the evolution, so Prairiemon can be evolved into any number of times.
It is found in a treasure chest in Packet Swamp.
Digimon Story: Sunburst & Moonlight[edit]
The Digimental of Kindness is a key item. Having it is one of the evolution requirements to perform the following Armor Evolutions in the Special Evolution menu of the DigiLab:
- Hawkmon → Tocanmon
Other evolution requirements: Level is 20 or higher; Defense is 105 or higher - Patamon → Prairiemon
Other evolution requirements: Level is 27 or higher; Attack is 135 or higher
It is not consumed in the evolution, so these Digimon can be evolved into any number of times.

The Digimental of Kindness is a collectible item that the player uses in battle to Armor Evolve their Digimon. All six playable Digimon are capable of using it:
- V-mon → Kangarumon
- Wormmon → Pucchiemon
- Hawkmon → Tocanmon
- Tailmon → Opossumon
- Armadimon → Chamelemon
- Patamon → Prairiemon
In the D-3 Version 2, the player can obtain the Digimental of Kindness by first collecting three fragments of it via the Search function in Area 2.[11]
However, there is no way to obtain the Digimental of Kindness in a D-3 Version 1 or Version 3 alone, unlike most other Digimentals. It can only be traded onto the device from the D-3 Version 2 or another compatible game or device, such as the D-Terminal or Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers.
D-Terminal[edit]
Digimentals of Kindness may be created through the fusion of the following combinations of either Digimon from the Reference Book, or other Digimentals:[12]
- Digimon: Wormmon + Stingmon
- Digimentals: Digimental of Courage + Digimental of Friendship + Digimental of Light
Digimentals of Kindness may be traded with compatible games and devices. Notably, Bandai advertised the D-Terminal, and its ability to trade Digimentals with the D-3, as a way for D-3s to access this Digimental.[13]
