Digimon Story[edit]
Qinglongmon is one of the Observers who commands the Normal Rank Tamers, and thus, the first Observer over the Player. He commands the Player to become a "noble Tamer" if they want to rank up, which they succeed at after giving a Digi-Cake to Culumon, thus becoming a Bronze Tamer.
Qinglongmon disappears from Digi-Central shortly before the virus hits it, as he had gone to investigate Sky Palace. At the end of said area, the Player finds him, however, he had gone berserk. While the Player was unwilling to fight their old leader, they had no choice as otherwise they'd get hurt by him. After being defeated, Qinglongmon comes to his senses, though he's unwilling to believe how much a simple virus could affect him. When asked by the Player what happened, he explains that he went to investigate Sky Palace, then a mysterious Tamer appeared, and he cannot remember anything afterwards. He also could not feel the virus anymore, but could not imagine this being the end of the issue, and suggests returning to Central.
Qinglongmon is a Dragon-type unobtainable Digimon. As a boss in Sky Palace, he occupies three spaces of the battlefield.

Digimon Survive[edit]
Qinglongmon is the Partner Kemonogami of Seiryū Boy and one of the Four Holy Beasts which restrain the Master.
In Part 11, Garurumon brought the party to Qinglongmon's shrine, however, only Momotsuka Takuma, Minase Akiharu, Agumon and Garurumon himself (now Gabumon) entered it. Unlike the previous two times, they immediately met Seiryū Boy, who sensed Baihumon and Xuanwumon's "breaths" on Agumon, but not Gabumon, who had just joined the team. Takuma asked him for his help, but Qinglongmon thought it'd be a waste of his power to give it to weak humans, when it should be used to suppress the Master. He challenged Akiharu to pass his trial, and refused to allow Takuma to help. While they cleared the trial, Qinglongmon just followed it with his "final trial", which Garurumon also cleared after evolving into Metal Garurumon. Seiryū Boy acknowledged that Takuma and the rest may be able to defeat "him" if they could defeat Qinglongmon, with the Professor believing this "him" was one of the boys offered as a sacrifice. Seiryū Boy explained their past – how they became god beasts and united the world to create one devoid of hatred, but the Master could not abandon hatred, because he was betrayed and offered as a sacrifice by his own sister, a maiden he idolized. The others tried to stop him, but they could only suppress his powers, and barely so at that. As such, he entrusted the heroes to return Minase Haruchika to his senses, and from that, save the world. Takuma and Akiharu accepted their mission to save Haruchika.
After they are defeated in the Truth route, they give Shakomon the ability to evolve to Qinglongmon so that she could use Qinglongmon's power to defeat the Master. They also regain their own power, allowing them to remove the fog that covered the dam and waterway.
