Digimon Survive

60 years ago, Miyuki and Akiharu ignored their parents warnings about not going near the Kemonogami Shrine and ended up in the Kemonogami World. There, they came across respectively Renamon and Gabumon and bonded with them. When they were finding a way to escape, a Kenzoku attacked them. Their Digimon tried to fight of against it, but to no avail. As a result, Miyuki sang the Song of the Minase Maiden and opened a portal for Akiharu to escape, leaving Miyuki to fall prey to the Kenzoku and the Master. Despite this, she was not killed, but instead lost all of her memories and soul, essentially being rendered a living husk. Back to the real world and terrified, Haru went back to report to the villagers, who did not believe his words as true. He also suppressed his memories of the incident due to trauma.

As of 2020, Akiharu is now an elderly man working as the professor of a university, but his papers were often disregarded as heresy. Through unknown means, he returned to the Kemonogami World on that year.
