Appearances[edit]
Anime[edit]
Digimon Adventure 02[edit]
Baihumon is one of the Four Holy Beasts, who exist to maintain the balance of the Digital World. Although it does not appear, Qinglongmon says in "Gigantic Ultimate, Qinglongmon" that it, along with the other Four Holy Beasts had fought a long battle with the Dark Masters and been sealed away. They had required the use of the Crests of Yagami Taichi's group of Chosen Children to break the seal and be freed. They were also responsible for releasing the Digimentals for use by Motomiya Daisuke's group of Chosen Children in response to the development of the Dark Towers.
Digimon Tamers[edit]
Baihumon is one of the Four Holy Beasts. It inhabits a castle in the Digital World.
In "True Enemy Gets to Move! The Battle of the Four Holy Beasts", Baihumon is engaged in a battle with the D-Reaper in an abyss near its castle, so that it can erect a seal to block the D-Reaper's emergence in that area. While it is away, Xuanwumon takes care of its castle. It emerges from this fight, exhausted, in "Whirling Ultimate Flower! Sakuyamon Evolves", having expended all of its energy to successfully establish the seal.
In "Evolutionary Radiance: Shining Evolution", Baihumon gathers with the other Holy Beasts to beseech Culumon to use its Shining Evolution. It is present when all of the Digimon whom Culumon has caused to evolve gather to fight the D-Reaper.
In "The Mysterious Girl! The Bringer of Miracles Dobermon", Dobermon tells the Tamers that Baihumon, along with the other Holy Beasts and the other Digimon, is fighting the D-Reaper in the Digital World.
In "Dreaming Power is Our Future", Baihumon and the other Holy Beasts emerge into the D-Reaper's portion in the real world through its Transphotic Eddy, and drag its Reaper agent back into the Digital World.
Digimon Adventure tri.[edit]
Baihumon is the partner Digimon of Nishijima Daigo[N 2] and one of the Four Holy Beasts. It appears in "Loss", in a flashback to the final battle between the Dark Masters and Daigo's Chosen Children group. Homeostasis, acting through Himekawa Maki, empowers Bearmon (as Loader Leomon) to evolve into Baihumon. Baihumon and the other newly-created Holy Beasts channel their attacks into Bakumon (as Megadramon), who forms one powerful burst that defeats the Dark Masters. The Holy Beasts then fall to the ground and create pillars of light that converge to seal the darkness away.

Digimon Story[edit]
Appears as one of the Observers of DigiCentral, and commands the Silver Rank Tamers. He commands the Player to raise Pagumon to rank up. During said quest, Baihumon then calls the Player and asks him to bring Pagumon to him. Getting to him, Baihumon and Pagumon cheerfully chat with each other and Pagumon confirms he wants to stay with the Player. Pagumon then tells Baihumon about Alphamon. Baihumon explains to them that Alphamon was once an ally of theirs, helping to make the Digital World a better place, and a close friend of Clavis Angemon, but was against bringing humans into the Digital World and ended up leaving them. Nonetheless, Baihumon's convinced he's a very good guy. After Pagumon recovers his true form, Andiramon, and they defeat Chimairamon, Baihumon acknowledges the Player's success and ranks them up to Gold Tamer.
After the virus hits Digi-Central, Xuanwumon and Baihumon disappear. After the Player corners the Bad Tamers Boss at Freezing Mountain, he calls for Unknown-D, who then summons Baihumon. The Bad Tamers Boss orders the berserk Baihumon to kill the Player, confirming to the Player that the Bad Tamer Boss and Unknown-D are behind the berserk virus incidents. Much like the rest, after being defeated, Baihumon comes back to his senses and thanks the Player. Baihumon then turns to the Bad Tamers Boss, before realizing that he couldn't sense Unknown-D anymore. The Bad Tamers Boss then runs away, and the Player and Baihumon separate to chase him and Unknown-D, respectively.
After beating Marin Angemon, Baihumon reunites with the Player, though only for both of them to confirm they lost their intended targets. Baihumon then points out that Unknown-D must be really powerful to be able to open Wormholes, and that the Bad Tamers Boss used his power to do so. However, he can't be sure if Unknown-D is a Digimon, and decides they should go back to Central to report, which they do after the Player says goodbye to Marin Angemon.
Baihumon is an unobtainable Beast-type Digimon. As a boss, he occupies three spaces on the battlefield.

Baihumon is the Partner Kemonogami of Byakko Boy and one of the Four Holy Beasts which restrain the Master.
The party first learns of Baihumon in Part 9 after looking at the mural in the third floor of the inner shrine. In the Truth route, they meet him later on in Part 9, finding his Western Shrine by accident while escaping from the Master in the amusement park, after Baihumon eliminates the Kenzoku that they were fighting just before. He was surprised to meet humans after hundreds of years, but nonetheless decided to slaughter them all, serving as the final boss of Part 9, Truth route. After being beaten, Baihumon praised the team and asks if they can keep fighting, though he's stopped by the appearance of his partner, who explained their story and how they bound Minase Haruchika, their friend who lost himself to the power they obtained and went berserk, but their time to do so would soon be over, as the fog that covered and destroyed the world was also destroying the souls in it, and they'd be no exception. Nonetheless, they recognized Momotsuka Takuma's wish and the strength of the heroes, and sent them to meet the other Holy Beasts, as obtaining the power of all four should be able to return the Master to normal.
After they are defeated in the Truth route, they give Labramon the ability to evolve to Baihumon so that she could use Baihumon's power to defeat Master. They also regain their own power, allowing them to remove the fog that covered the amusement park.
