The pierced-ear Hyemon that put Shinomiya Hitomi into a coma evolves into Fangmon after luring Tenma Tomoro and Gekkomon into the Mirror World in "Facing Mirrors". He overpowers Gekkomon until he's backed up by the rest of Glowing Dawn and is reduced to Punimon after Gekkomon removes Hitomi's Sapotama from it.

Fangmon is a random enemy and playable Kemonogami which can only be obtained as a Free Kemonogami. It's a Mobility-type, Wrathful (Virus)-attribute, Adult-level Kemonogami. Its unnamed Attack is a bite (85 power, 0 SP, deals Dark damage to target) and its special attack is Blast Coffin (200 power, 30 SP, deals Wind damage to target). Its Passive Skill is Ravenous Wolf (Raises damage two ranks when attacking from behind). Fangmon evolves from Gazimon and can evolve to Marin Devimon, Archnemon and Vamdemon by using Perfect Enlightenment Slabs.
