Anime[edit]
Digimon Beatbreak[edit]
Sawashiro Kyo formed Glowing Dawn alongside the new Nirinso Shelter following his official resignation from the Five Stars. The group has a tightly-knit camaraderie based around Sawashio Kyo and treats each other as friends and family. The only written rule in Glowing Dawn is "Glowing Dawn doesn't delete Digimon," a philosophy that Kyo acquired following the horrible deaths of his former caretakers. Therefore, unlike other Cleaners who delete all of the Digimon they come across, Digimon that the Glowing Dawn defeat are instead transported to Nirinso Shelter; to make sure that they get the full bounty, the Digimon are declared deleted while they are actually not. Initially Kyo only had Kuonji Makoto and Sakuya Reina as members; he recruited Tenma Tomoro at the start of the season.
Virtual Pets[edit]

Digimon Card Game[edit]
Glowing Dawn is a trait introduced in ST-23 Digimon Beatbreak. It is given to Digimon and Tamers that formed part of the Glowing Dawn in the Digimon Beatbreak anime.
Development[edit]
- Glowing Dawn's name was originally intended to be Golden Dawn (ゴールデンドーン, Gōruden Dōn) and was announced as such. However, the name was changed shortly prior to the release of Digimon Beatbreak, on September 10th, 2025. No official explanation was given for the change. It was presumably due to sharing the same name as the Greek Nazi group Golden Dawn or the esoteric group of the same name.
