Hikita Hajime is a minor antagonist in Digimon Beatbreak. He's a schoolmate of Tenma Tomoro and Shinomiya Hitomi.
Profile[edit]
Hikita Hajime is a student at Shin Hikarigahama High School, same as Tenma Tomoro and Shinomiya Hitomi. He harbours a strong ambition to rise to the top and get to live in the Shangri-La Egg, which causes him to develop a grudge against the top five students as he was barely unable to reach their level through studying alone. While he puts up a persona of a cowardly, unfortunate child who wasn't to blame for Mimicmon's actions as he never expected them to be born from his Sapotama or follow his wish to make the top five students disappear, his later dialogue with Tomoro shows that in in reality he's aggressive and nearly psychopathic in his pursuit of a better life, as he threatened the very person that saved him from his berserk Partner Digimon to keep silent about the events they went through merely to protect his chance to do so.
As they were born from Hikita's e-Pulse, Mimicmon is one-mindedly driven to eliminate those that stand in Hikita's way, trapping not only the top five students but also Tomoro, Hitomi, and even Hikita himself inside themself, then using their e-Pulse to try to eliminate the Glowing Dawn for getting in their way.

Digimon Beatbreak[edit]
Prior to "The Disappearing Classroom", Hikita Hajime failed to reach the top five of his class. This led him to wish that the top five would disappear so he could take their place. At the same time, his e-Pulse gave birth to his Partner Digimon, Mimicmon, from his Sapotama, who proceeded to attempt to make his wish come true even against his will. To do so, Mimicmon trapped Hikita inside themself, hacked the entire Shin Hikarigahama High School, and baited the top five students to a specific room where they used their holograms to trap them inside themself as well.
During the episode itself, Shinomiya Hitomi had Tenma Tomoro help her investigate the disappearance of one of her friends, one of said top five. To get rid of them, Mimicmon baited them into their room with a fake video of Hitomi's friend, then attacked them. Gekkomon tried to stop them, but they were incapable of dealing with the holograms and Mimicmon trapped both humans, greatly weakening Gekkomon as that cut their link with Tomoro's e-Pulse. Sakuya Reina, Wolvermon, Kuonji Makoto and Chiropmon then joined in, causing Mimicmon to escape into the Mirror World but not without trying to trap the Glowing Dawn using the hacked school systems, to no avail. In the school's Mirror World, Mimicmon grew much bigger using the e-Pulse of those they had trapped inside themself except Hikita and Tomoro and overpowered the Glowing Dawn, while Hikita desperately told Tomoro he wasn't to blame for this as he never intended for Mimicmon to be born. Mimicmon then attempted to kill the Glowing Dawn using Dead Shot, charging it with the e-Pulse of the trapped humans, only for Tomoro to force them to take his e-Pulse too, which was too powerful and caused Mimicmon to overload and explode. Gekkomon then entered the broken Mimicmon and finished them off, devolving them to Kuramon and separating them from their Sapotama.
Some time later, Tomoro fell asleep with Kuramon in his arms, which Kawarazaki and the Ministry of Civil Protection took advantage of to take Kuramon from them so they could delete the Digimon, against the Glowing Dawn's will. The next day, Hikita confronted Tomoro and threatened him not to tell anyone about what had happened, as it could put his wish to get into the Shangri-La Egg into jeopardy. Seeing the madness of his classmate and the evil of the Ministry of Civil Protection, Tomoro dropped out of school and fully joined the Glowing Dawn, deciding to live only following his beat.
