The Shangri-La Eggs are the U-topian center of the city in Digimon Beatbreak. These buildings were built to withstand floods, earthquakes and other potential disasters and located around Hikarigahama East.

Description

Given their namesake, the buildings are egg-shaped and gigantic, keeping residents high above. Entering one requires going through a Sapotama Scan Spot at the entrance. In addition to homes, they offer many amenities like those in the High-End Block — from shopping areas that require One Day Passports to an observation tower, and even a gardening area at the very top where Klay Arslan lives. Registration in the building is cross-referenced across all Area Blocks; anyone with a criminal record or unauthorized access will be punished and denied entry. The building also includes a janitor directory and worker drones that deliver items from the Sapotamas directly to residents upon request.

They are highly resilient and completely immune to most natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons, and is resistant to hacking. According to Chairman Wong, it will emerge out unscathed from even a missile attack. If the air in the outside world is contaminated, it can also provide oxygen for itself. Certain forms of modified Digimon attacks (such as GIFTED, a Mephismon-powered cybervirus) can still compromise its functionalities, however.

One of the landmarks of the setting is a large Shangri-La Egg at the middle of the ocean surrounding Hikarigahama East, commonly known as the "Hikarigahama East Egg".
