• Chimairamon is given dialogue in the dub.
• The dub cuts out all scenes of destruction, including a shot of various Digimon getting vaporized by Chimairamon's attacks. A later scene in the dub is rewritten to make it clear that nobody died in the attack.
• Yamato asking if Ken is trying to play God is replaced with a joke about model airplanes.
• The dark tone of this episode is heavily toned down in the dub, including the addition of new dialogue in moments of silence.
• Daisuke's speech to Ken is mostly left intact in the dub, which clashes heavily with the portrayal that the dub has previously given him.
