Although it evolved like a reptile, just like Palmon, it is categorized as an unusual Digimon of the Plant type. Its whole face has the appearance of a flower, and the petal-styled shell usually protects its head like a helmet. When intruders are not around or when it's in a good mood, the petals on its head and both of its arms open up wide. It sees Palmon as its rival, and has a very prideful personality. Its Special Move is generating allergy-inducing pollen from the flowers on both of its arms (Allergy Shower). If they suffer this technique, even larger Digimon are unable to keep hold of their presence of mind, and completely lose their fighting spirit.

Digimon Adventure[edit]

As the Chosen Children arrived to Pinochimon's mansion in Episode 55, "Pursuit! Defeat Pinochimon!", they saw two of Pinochimon's minions, Delumon (who spoke in an old timey way) and Floramon, outside of it. Tentomon thought they were weak and they could take them on, but Yagami Taichi stopped him as they didn't know what else awaited them, so they all ambushed them together.

Delumon and Floramon are the 64th obligatory boss of the game, fighting the Chosen Children in Episode 55, "Pursuit! Defeat Pinochimon!". Floramon can deal damage, Break and Poison to the entire party with Allergy Shower.

After being defeated, Delumon demanded an explanation for the Chosen Children's attack. Agumon justified it because they were Pinochimon's minions, though both of them denied it. Delumon explained they were merely seeking a playmate, which made sense to Takaishi Takeru (who copied Delumon's speech) as Pinochimon had no friends. Taichi asked them if Pinochimon was in but he wasn't, so Takeru offered Delumon as their guide. While Delumon agreed, her services ended up being unneeded as Pinochimon arrived soon after. Terrified, Delumon and Floramon ran away.
