Dark Masters

From Wikimon
The four Dark Masters

The Dark Masters (ダークマスターズ Dāku Masutāzu) are four evil, Ultimate level Digimon from Digimon Adventure, who are extensions of Apocalymon. In the absence of the Chosen Children, the Dark Masters took over the Digital World and reformatted much of it into Spiral Mountain, making it easier for them to conquer.

They all originate from the Digimon Pendulum x.0 series (although Mugendramon debuted in Digimon World). Their armies in Digimon Adventure are each named after the Pendulum version featuring the respective member of the Dark Masters, with exception of Nature Spirits and Virus Busters.

Voice Actor Japanese Kazama Yūto (風間 勇刀)
English Doug Erholtz

An arrogant and hot-tempered Digimon in control of the Digital World's seas, he commanded Digimon of the Deep Savers, including many Hangyomon and a particularly scatterbrained Anomalocarimon. He was extremely arrogant about his power, boasting an almost impenetrable defense because of his Chrome Digizoid armor. Unfortunately, he was at a type disadvantage against War Greymon's Dramon Killers and was ripped through lengthwise with his Brave Tornado.

Pinochimon[edit]

English David Lodge

A very juvenile puppet Digimon, he commanded Digimon of the Wind Guardians and controlled the forest. He showed a special interest in Takaishi Takeru, the youngest of the Chosen Children, challenging him to various games at his mansion. He is best known for toting around a .44 Magnum gun and killing several of his minions during temper tantrums. He was killed by Ishida Yamato's Metal Garurumon.

Mugendramon[edit]

Voice Actor Japanese Egawa Hisao (江川 央生)
English Dave Guerrie

Extremely calculating and uncaring, he ruled over Multitask City and commanded Digimon of the Metal Empire family. He had some of the highest offensive power of the group, being able to obliterate entire city blocks with the cannons on his back. Being a dragon type, he also fell to War Greymon's Dramon Killers.

Piemon[edit]

The leader of the Dark Masters, he watched from the top of Spiral Mountain as his comrades were destroyed by the Chosen Children. He controlled the Nightmare Soldiers, his second-in-command being a Lady Devimon. He was able to shape shift into various forms and cause elaborate illusions, along with the ability to change his opponents into keychains with his versatile Clown Trick. Being too powerful to kill, Takeru's partner, Holy Angemon, sealed him away within his Heaven's Gate. His victims were returned from their keychain state by Holy Angemon's Holy Disinfection.
