Digimon Adventure 20th Anniversary Memorial Story Project (デジモンアドベンチャー20周年メモリアルストーリープロジェクト, Dejimon Adobenchā 20 Shūnen Memoriaru Sutōrī Purojekuto) is a series of anime shorts produced by Toei Animation as a tie-in to Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. They feature short stories that depict the everyday life of the characters around or before the events of Kizuna. They are part of the Digimon Adventure continuity.
The production and release of the Memorial Story Project was supported by a crowdfunding campaign on the crowdfunding platform Campfire.
Only the first short, To Sora, has received a general release, as it is available on the Toei Animation YouTube channel (including an English-subtitled version). The second through fourth shorts received limited showings in LB Pop-Up Theater shops as a bonus for purchases. Otherwise, the shorts are exclusive to the Blu-ray Disc compilation that was distributed as a reward to backers of the crowdfunding campaign.

Crowdfunding[edit]
The Memorial Story Project was supported by a crowdfunding campaign on the Japanese crowdfunding platform Campfire. This campaign is also how the complete set of shorts was released, as the only release of the shorts on physical media, and the only release in general of the second through fifth, was through a Blu-Ray Disc that was one of the backer rewards.
The campaign was open for pledges between August 18 2019 and October 2 2019. It raised a total of ¥38,336,588, well above the target of ¥10,000,000.[1]
The campaign only accepted pledges from residents of Japan.[1]

Original Partner Digimon[edit]
One of the rewards for the ¥300,000 tier of the crowdfunding campaign was "Creation of Your Very Own Original Partner Digimon & Production of a Plush Doll" 「あなただけのオリジナルパートナーデジモン誕生&ぬいぐるみにしてお届けします」. For a minimum pledge of ¥300,000, backers would be rewarded with a meeting with Digimon designer Watanabe Kenji, who would design a partner Digimon for the backer based on the backer's input in the meeting.
The backer would later receive both model sheets and finalized key art of the Digimon by Watanabe, as well as a one-of-a-kind plush doll of the Digimon produced by Bandai. The plush dolls were scheduled for distribution to the backers by December 2020.[1]
All five of the backer slots for this reward tier were filled. The following Digimon were designed as the rewards for this tier:
