Digimon Link System

Digimon Link System 「デジモンリンクシステム」 is a branding that Bandai used for certain Japanese Digimon LCD toys in the early 2000s. It denotes compatibility with a multiplayer connectivity ecosystem that was originally centered around the D-3.

Two later electronic toys based on the D-3 (the D-3 -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- and the Complete Selection Animation D-3) are still marked with the Digimon Link System logo. These devices are entirely incompatible with the original Digimon Link System, and the logo is only present to match the design of the original D-3 toy.
Other Uses[edit]
Digital Monster Card Game[edit]
Cards which feature input codes for the D-Ark are always marked with the Digimon Link System logo.
Some, but not all, cards which feature barcodes for the D-Scanner are also marked with the logo. If the logo is suffixed with a number from 1 to 3 in very small print, then the barcode is only compatible with the corresponding D-Scanner version, as when scanned it gives the D-Scanner player a Digimon that exists in that particular version.[1]
