Toei Animation Co., Ltd. (東映アニメーション株式会社, Tōei Animēshon Kabushiki Gaisha) is a Japanese animation studio and is a subsidiary of Toei Co., Ltd.

The company was originally founded in Shinjuku in 1948 under the name Nihon Doga Co., Ltd.; soon afterwards in August 1952 it changed its corporate name to Nichido Eiga. In 1956, Toei Co., Ltd. purchased the studio and became one of its subsidiaries, now going under the name Toei Doga Co., Ltd. Their mascot is the cat Pero, from the company's film adaptation of Puss in Boots, which debuted at the 1969 Toei Cartoon Festival.
