A Harpymon realizes in Tokyo during Renamon and Makino Ruki's feud with each other. Renamon attempts to fight it alone, and nearly defeats it until Ruki arrives and Renamon is distracted. The pair mend their bond, but Harpymon starts attacking again. Renamon evolves to Kyubimon and defeats the Harpymon with ease.
