A mythical Ancient Species Digimon that, even with the vastness of the Digital World, is said to only exist on the Folder Continent. Its existence is extremely rare, and even on the Folder Continent, it is hardly encountered. Also, it is said that only one Digimon Tamer was able to tame V-dramon. With the exception of it becoming known as V-dramon due to the "V"-shaped pattern on its chest, its way of life is a mystery, but for some reason, it is always mistaken for a dog. While its attack power is exceptional even among Adults, if put into a predicament, it exhibits power that surpasses even that of Perfects. Its Special Move is a high-temperature heat ray spewed from its mouth (V Breath Arrow).

Digimon Adventure: Anode Tamer & Cathode Tamer[edit]

In the original Digimon Adventure: Anode Tamer and Cathode Tamer, V-dramon is a playable Digimon that was only available through promotional giveaways, first in 1999's "Jump Festa 2000", and also including event distributions in 2000 and the sweepstakes-exclusive Digimon Adventure: Campaign Limited Version. Otherwise, it is entirely unavailable in these versions, other than through trading with one of the aforementioned sources. Some distributed event V-dramons came with the otherwise inaccessible Aero V-dramon, Omegamon and Goddramon Variable Moves.

In the Digimon Anode/Cathode Tamer: Veedramon Version port, Veedramon (V-dramon) is made readily available without any event distributions. Each time that the first File Island dungeon is cleared, a Veedramon is added to the list of Digimon that can be received from the Server Room as a reward.
