Our War Game![edit]

After War Greymon and Metal Garurumon are badly injured by the multitude of Diablomon clones, Yagami Taichi and Ishida Yamato mysteriously entered their computers to try to wake their Digimon up. In response to their partners, the battered Digimon began to wake up. Using the power from the positive emotions of people watching the fight on the internet, War Greymon and Metal Garurumon fused into Omegamon. The Diablomon clones fired at Omegamon, but he deflected their attacks with his Grey Sword, destroying a great number of the clones. He proceeded to slaughter more of the clones with his Garuru Cannon until only the original remained. Izumi Kōshirō forwarded thousands of emails from children around the world to Diablomon to slow him down, during which Omegamon impales him on the Grey Sword.

An image of Omegamon appears during the explanation of Izumi Kōshirō about how Jogress Evolution works.

Diablomon Strikes Back[edit]

When Diablomon reappeared on the internet, Omegamon returned. With the help of Angemon and Angewomon, he made short work of the menace. When the Kuramon in the Real World fused into Armagemon, it became clear that Diablomon's return was only a diversion. Omegamon appeared in the Real World, but was no match for his opponent. Armagemon badly injured Omegamon, causing both of his arms to fall off. Later, Omegamon gave his power to a beaten and weakened Imperialdramon: Fighter Mode to Mode Change him into Paladin Mode, while Omegamon reverted to Agumon and Gabumon.

Digital Monster X-evolution[edit]

Following Yggdrasill's orders, Omegamon attempted to execute all X-Antibody Digimon. When his friend Dukemon attempted to stop it, the two dueled. Omegamon was the victor, impaling Dukemon through the chest with the Grey Sword. Afterwards, a shadow of doubt and regret casted itself over Omegamon. When DORUguremon arrived in the Yggdrasill zone to take down Yggdrasill, Omegamon confronted him and the two battled, although Omegamon no longer seemed certain of what he's fighting for.

When Omegamon attacked DORUguremon, including cutting off his wings, DORUguremon evolved into Alphamon, and Omegamon was shocked by Alphamon's appearance. Omegamon realized that Dukemon was telling him to truth about Yggdrasil's cruel plan and joined Alphamon. Together, the two moved onward towards Yggdrasill. When they reached Yggdrasill's last guardian, Death-X-DORUgoramon, Omegamon waspowerless and Alphamon defeated it. Afterwards, they both encountered Death-X-mon. Alphamon: Ouryuken sacrificed himself to clear the path to Yggdrasill. In an ironic twist, Omegamon absorbde Alphamon's X-Antibody and evolved into Omegamon (X-Antibody). Angered about Yggdrasil's foul plan, Omegamon attacked Yggdrasill's core with All Delete, skewering the crystal ball-like structure with the Grey Sword. As the movie ended, Omegamon X and Dukemon X are shown standing on a mountain, discussing the past, present, and future of the world, Yggdrasill, and the Royal Knights.

It appears as the fusion of Greymon and Garurumon during the fight against Eosmon (Adult), but reverted to Agumon and Gabumon due to the time limit created by the Chosen Children growing up. Agumon and Gabumon fused once again during the fight against several Eosmon (Perfect), but was defeated by their combined form, Eosmon (Ultimate).

Digimon Adventure:[edit]

Omegamon appears as the fusion of Yagami Taichi's Greymon and Ishida Yamato's Garurumon when both Takaishi Takeru and Yagami Hikari touch a mysterious feather. It single-handedly destroyed Algomon (Ultimate) in "War Game" and Nidhoggmon in "Countdown to Tokyo's Annihilation" with its Grey Sword attack.

During "The Crest of Courage", Valkyrimon refers to Omegamon as the "great power". She explained to Taichi that Omegamon was first formed in the fight between the Holy and Dark Digimon armies, fusing from War Greymon and Metal Garurumon thanks to the Digimon's hearts that wished to conquer evil for peace despite being hurt and defeated. As Omegamon, they were able to cause a miracle, defeating Zeed Millenniumon alongside Seraphimon and Ofanimon. Furthermore, Valkyrimon pointed out that Omegamon was summoned twice in the present day thanks to the Chosen Children, and that he was an existence which surpassed countless space-time, but that only held a shape from prayers and wishes, and that it was the last light for all living beings, the ultimate miracle that could even overturn the end of the world. She then added that the key to activating said great power was the hearts of many Digimon and humans, that if they prayed, they would surely become the key to overcome the approaching catastrophe.

Valkyrimon's words would prove to be true in "The Last Miracle, the Last Power", where Omegamon was formed once again, this time from War Greymon and Metal Garurumon, thanks to the lights of hope of the people of the Real World, which were gathered together and sent to Taichi and Yamato, in order to fight Abbadomon who was immune to any attacks. As Omegamon, who Ofanimon described as "the ultimate miracle, the Holy Knight", he was able to easily break a hole in Abbadomon without even needing to use a special technique, then plunged into it before Abbadomon could heal.

As Taichi, Yamato and Omegamon arrived to where Abbadomon Core was in "The End of the Adventure", it asked them if they feared it, as it released a wave of energy and red lightning all around the Digital World. It referred to itself as the "one who consumes" as it showed its true form, and from there on as "nothingness" and "one who erases all" in multiple voices at once, as well as saying several negative emotions, before Omegamon and it charged at each other, with Abbadomon Core's Binjerādo which Omegamon matched with his Grey Sword. After several sword clashes, Abbadomon Core tried to bite Omegamon with its red arm, and while Omegamon managed to swat it away, he then got hit by Abbadomon Core's spear and nearly dropped to the ground. Abbadomon Core then tried to impale him with its Binjerādo, but Omegamon managed to avoid it and counterattacked with two volleys of missiles from its Metal Garurumon arm. However, Abbadomon Core was able to avoid the first and destroy the second, then shot Omegamon several times with its Death Charge, which Omegamon blocked with his Brave Shield but it put him at the defensive. One of the shots then turned into a Negamon (Evolved Form) which gnawed at the shield, though it'd end up being incinerated by the shield itself. Nonetheless, this gave Abbadomon Core time to shoot a charged beam at Omegamon, which he managed to block and redirect but not before being pushed back. Both Digimon then shot their respective cannons at each other, and in the light of the explosion caused by their clash, rammed each other with their melee weapons once again. They then tried to shoot each other at close range, but failed to, which Abbadomon Core followed by a barrage of Gaze Eraser beams from the eyes on its "cape", which Omegamon blocked with his own cape, which also hid a new shot from his Garuru Cannon from Abbadomon Core's eyes, causing it to get hit and its red half to get frozen. With Abbadomon Core distracted with its frozen arm, Omegamon tried to stab it in the abdomen, only for said abdomen to open like a mouth, dodging the sword. Said mouth then closed, trapping the Grey Sword and corrupting both Omegamon and his Chosen Children as Abbadomon Core released black lightning, and once again its voices talked about negative emotions and consuming all, which could be heard even from outside Abbadomon. However, the Chosen Children rejected said negativity, and the power of their Crests went into Omegamon, freeing him, Taichi and Yamato from the corruption. Abbadomon Core then tried to bring its Binjerādo down on the trapped Omegamon, however, he deflected it with his right arm, which had turned into Omegamon Alter-S', thus giving him the Garuru Sword. Omegamon then released his original sword from Abbadomon Core's abdomen, then pushed him back with a double slash before turning his arms into two cannons: both his usual right arm and Omegamon Alter-S' left arm with the Grey Cannon. Omegamon shot both cannons at Abbadomon Core, which it tried and failed to block with another barrage of Gaze Eraser beams.

From beyond the smokescreen created by their clash, Omegamon fully evolved into Omegamon Alter-S. Abbadomon Core tried to rush at him, but he was stopped in place by his Grey Cannon, followed by a wave from his Garuru Sword that split Abbadomon Core in half. Unwilling to give up, it then turned into a shapeless abomination with a giant mouth which tried to eat Omegamon Alter-S, but it was easily destroyed by the fused Digimon that then turned back into Omegamon. While Abbadomon Core thought it would now vanish, Omegamon rejected that, since, as a Digimon, it would reach another evil existence or perhaps a good existence. However, Omegamon then rejected his own words, saying that Abbadomon Core should not be bound by either because Digimon held endless potential. Abbadomon Core then turned into a Digitama and disappeared, with Omegamon wishing it farewell and saying they would meet again. Afterwards, new Digimoji saying "All Recover" appeared over Omegamon's Grey Sword, and with a swing of it, the Digital World returned to its normal state.
