A Digimon whose appearance resembles a dinosaur that still retains its youth. Although it is still a Child, its potential as a "Combat Species"—something which all Digimon naturally possess—is very high, and beneath its surface lies the ferocious personality of a carnivorous beast. The mark depicted on its abdomen is called the "Digital Hazard", which is inscribed on those that have the potential to cause massive damage to computer data. However, as long as this ability is used peacefully, it is also possible for it to turn into a guardian of the Digital World. Its Signature Move is destroying rocks with its sturdy foreclaws (Rock Breaker). Its Special Move is spewing out a powerful flame shot (Fireball).

Digimon Xros Wars & The Evil Death General and the Seven Kingdoms[edit]

In "Taiki, Go to Another World!", Kudou Taiki has a dream in which he leads an army of Digimon in battle against a mysterious army. A Guilmon is part of Taiki's army.

The Guilmon DigiMemory is part of a set that Pharaohmon and Revolmon award to Taiki in Sand Zone in "Sand Zone, A Great Adventure in the Ruins!". Taiki uses the DigiMemory while exploring Sand Zone's underground ruins with Baalmon in "Taiki, The Goddess' Warrior!", summoning Guilmon to drill a hole in a rock wall with its Rock 'n' Roll Breaker so that he and Baalmon could pass.

He was part of a chivalric order of Digimon (that eventually became the DigiMemories) who fought against the Bagra Army to prevent Bagramon from taking over both the Digital and Real Worlds, as shown in "Glorious DigiXros, Seize it! Our Future!!".

Guilmon's DigiMemory, together with the other DigiMemories, used all of their powers to assist Taiki, Hinomoto Akari, and Cutemon in entering the Dark Stone to save Shoutmon. When the Code Crown chooses Taiki, Guilmon and the other Digimon of the chivalric order are resurrected and are among the many Digimon who contribute to the Final Xros of Shoutmon X7: Superior Mode.
