Guilmon is the partner Digimon of Matsuda Takato. Takato originally made him up, and designed and documented him in his notepad, but he is brought to life when Takato's D-Ark scans the notepad's pages.

Digimon Xros Wars & The Evil Death General and the Seven Kingdoms[edit]
In "Taiki, Go to Another World!", Kudou Taiki has a dream in which he leads an army of Digimon in battle against a mysterious army. A Guilmon is part of Taiki's army.
A Guilmon is a member of the chivalric order that became the DigiMemories. The Guilmon DigiMemory is part of a set that Pharaohmon and Revolmon award to Taiki in Sand Zone in "Sand Zone, A Great Adventure in the Ruins!".
Taiki uses the DigiMemory while exploring Sand Zone's underground ruins with Baalmon in "Taiki, The Goddess' Warrior!", summoning Guilmon to drill a hole in a rock wall with its Rock 'n' Roll Breaker so that he and Baalmon could pass.
"Glorious DigiXros, Seize It! Our Future!!", Guilmon's DigiMemory, together with the other DigiMemories, use all of their powers to assist Taiki, Hinomoto Akari, and Cutemon in entering the Dark Stone to save Shoutmon. When the Code Crown chooses Taiki, Guilmon and the other Digimon of the chivalric order are resurrected from the DigiMemories, and are among the many Digimon who contribute to the formation of Shoutmon X7: Superior Mode.
Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]
Guilmon is the partner Digimon of Matsuda Takato. He and Takato are among the heroes from other worlds who the Old Clock Shop Man recruited to help fight DigiQuartz and Quartzmon.
When Xros Heart make their stand against Quartzmon's forces to buy the Digimon Hunters time in The Gathering of the Legendary Heroes! The Digimon All-star Showdown!!, Takato and Guilmon arrive to reinforce them, along with the other hero team leaders. They Matrix Evolve into Dukemon to fight the Vamdemon duplicates and contribute to the Brave Snatcher.
In "Burn Up, Tagiru! The Glorious Digimon Hunt", after Quartzmon is defeated, Guilmon appears with Takato as they gather with all of the others who helped fight Quartzmon to thank Akashi Tagiru, before being returned to their own world.

Several NPC Guilmon also appear. In order to ride the Gondola to South Sector, the player must acquire a Blue Card from one NPC Guilmon. At first, Guilmon plays a trick and instead gives the player a fake, the "Plue Card" (Dub: 8lue Card). When he is confronted with this, he hands over a real Blue Card.

Can be evolved from Kuramon if above level 8 and Attack above 65, or can be found at Cliff Valley. He can evolve to Growmon if above level 25 and Dragon EXP above 500. He also gives you a request mission to obtain a Guilmon Bread from a girl named Mika, who is walking around near the DigiFarm Shop in DigiCentral. However you need to obtain a few ingredients from Data Forest and Training Mountain in order to accomplish this mission.

Guilmon is Matsuda Takato's Partner Digimon. He first appears in this form in Episode 69, "Crimson Knight! Dukemon", and takes this form outside of battle, always being Dukemon in-battle.

A Guilmon is fought in the Colosseum's 10th floor Free Battle: "You can't give orders in here?", alongside its Tamer, Peach. Winning this awards Taiga the Swirly Glasses accesory.
Another Guilmon is in Ancient Bone Swamp. It feels a burning desire for sculpting. Taiga gives it a Giant Ore to sculpt with, then it goes back to the Village of Beginnings as it's a better place to sculpt in. Soon after, it sends Taiga a mail confirming its statue is complete, as well as a Dorulu Drill accessory made from the leftover materials.
