⇨ Japanese A Digimon with gigantic, jet-black wings whose true identity is unknown, it is theorized by some researchers to appear when the Digital World has been plunged into chaos and is meeting its end. Although it was originally an Angel Digimon whose role was to maintain order, it was said to have fallen due to its wrath and sorrow and fusion with another Digimon, giving rise to Ordinemon. Negative emotions themselves flow out of Ordinemon's wings, and a flap of its wings will spread miasma throughout its surroundings. The endlessly overflowing miasma is capable of eventually covering the entire world, resulting in the end of all life. However, its true nature is one of kindness, a high-standing being who plans to save the world by first returning the world, which has lost its order, to nothingness.
Its Special Moves are a jet-black wave fired from its mouth that destroys all data (End of the World), and an omnidirectional attack where it launches the two orbs embedded in its wings to attack the enemies around it (Magna Visibility). Not only that, its "Summon Apocalypse", where its falling feathers transform into countless Digimon and attack, brings terror and despair to not only this attack's targets but also all who witness it.

Ordinemon was created for Digimon Adventure tri. According to director Motonaga Keitarō, Ordinemon's role in the story of tri.—as the fusion of Yagami Hikari's Ofanimon: Falldown Mode and a Digimon that was ultimately developed into Mochizuki Meiko's Meicoomon (in the form of Raguelmon)—was established at the very beginning of production, and this plot point directly influenced the development of Meicoomon into a Digimon related to Tailmon.[1]
Watanabe Kenji has characterized the concept of Ordinemon as an agglomeration of the wings of many Digimon who are unable to fly into a single "mass of malice." These wings and feathers form Ordinemon's "wings," which are actually legs styled to resemble wings; when Ordinemon attacks, the wings and feathers take the form of Digimon. Although Watanabe personally envisioned Ordinemon as moving around by walking on its "wings," tri. opted to depict it flying with them.[2]
Watanabe has also suggested that, as with Meicoomon, they had intended to include ties to Apocalymon in Ordinemon's design, likely to reflect the tri. plot point about Meiko's Meicoomon having a shard of Apocalymon's data in her. In his assessment, none of these ties remain in Ordinemon's finalized design,[2] although the arms and legs of Ordinemon's white humanoid body do resemble Meicoomon's feelers/scarf and share their double-helix shape, which were themselves designed as an (in his opinion, indistinct[2]) allusion to Apocalymon's tentacles.

Appearances[edit]
Ordinemon is the fused form of Raguelmon and Ofanimon: Falldown Mode, the partner Digimon of Mochizuki Meiko and Yagami Hikari.
Ordinemon is formed in "Coexistence", when Hikari's grief at losing her brother, Yagami Taichi, causes Nyaromon into Dark Evolving into Ofanimon: Falldown Mode, who Raguelmon then absorbs and fuses with. Ordinemon's very existence causes the harmony between the two worlds to begin to collapse, triggers the Digimon around the Real World into action and, once it realizes in the Real World in "Our Future", brings a rain of dark energy that eats away at everything it touches. However, despite its rampage, as Hackmon observes, it still has a flicker of consciousness left as it recognizes Meiko and the other partner Digimon.
As Ordinemon threatens to fulfill Yggdrasill's plan to have the Digital World engulf the Real World and potentially destroy both, Homeostasis initiates a Reboot of the Real World to stop it despite the Chosen Children's objections. Meanwhile, the Chosen Children attempt to find a way to stop Ordinemon themselves and prevent the Reboot, despite both them and the Japanese Self-Defense Force being totally helpless against its immense power. Following a tip from Hikari and Takaishi Takeru, Meiko and Izumi Kōshirō unlock Meicoomon's sealed memories from within Ordinemon in an attempt to stabilize it and end its rampage, but although it successfully awakens Tailmon from inside, Ordinemon instead begins to dissociate and attempts to flee back to the Digital World. It is stopped by the intervention of Hackmon in his JESmon form, who cleaves off one of its wings, freeing Tailmon from the Ordinemon form.
Yggdrasill uses the loss of Tailmon as an opportunity to fill in the remaining empty space in Ordinemon itself, and it continues to attack. In order to save Meicoomon in the only way left to them—killing her—and to prevent Yggdrasill from using Ordinemon as a pawn in its schemes, the Chosen Children and their partner Digimon press the offensive against Ordinemon, culminating in the formation of Omegamon: Merciful Mode. Omegamon subdues Ordinemon by removing its wings, and Ordinemon submits to its fate and puts up no further resistance as Omegamon cleaves it in half, ending Meicoomon's suffering.
