An Ultimate level Digimon who observes all Angel Digimon with eyes of distrust, in order to prevent the fall of other Angel Digimon. The moment it detects an Angel Digimon that has begun to fall, it will attack and destroy them before they would have fallen completely. However, because it was shunned for its role as an observer, it began to be filled with nihilistic thoughts until its sole line of thought was to reject everything. At that stage, it no longer discerns between friend and foe, turning into a fearsome Digimon that carries out destruction indiscriminately.
Its Special Move is mutilating the enemy using the claws on its arms and the tip of its tail (Form Taranis). Once it impales the enemy, it injects destructive data that eat away at and corrode the enemy from the inside. It can also fire laser bullets from the gemstones situated on its arms and chest (Purhorus).

必殺技は、両爪と尻尾の先で敵を斬り刻む“フォルムタラニス”。串刺しにすれば破壊のデータを流し込み、敵は内部から蝕まれ朽ちていく。また両腕と腹部の宝玉からレーザー弾“パーホルス”を放つ。

n., In the traditions of various Abrahamic religions, Raguel 「ラグエル」 (fron the Greek Ῥαγουὴλ Rhagouḕl)—a.k.a. Reuel (Hebrew: רְעוּאֵל Reʿūʾēl)—is an archangel. He is not acknowledged in any canonical text, and only appears in apocryphal texts, rabbinic literature and various traditions of some individual denominations. His nature and role also vary, including being identified as one of the Seven Archangels) or as the Angel of Justice.

| Raguelmon was created for Digimon Adventure tri. The role that Raguelmon played in the final cut of "Coexistence"—in which it fuses with Yagami Hikari's Ofanimon: Falldown Mode to form Ordinemon—was established at the very beginning of tri.'s production, and because of this, the Digimon intended to fill this role, which was ultimately developed into Meicoomon (and by extension, its higher-leveled forms, including Raguelmon), was designed with a relationship to Tailmon in mind.[1]
According to Watanabe Kenji, the design concept of both Raguelmon and its previous form, Meicrackmon: Vicious Mode, arose from the tri. plot point that Mochizuki Meiko's Meicoomon undergoes mutations to become higher-leveled Digimon. In accordance with this, both Digimon were designed based on the motif that, unlike the more radical changes of a traditional Digimon evolution, Meicoomon's overall appearance and silhouette (its face especially) all remain fundamentally the same as it mutates, and experience few changes other than increasing in size and taking a more humanoid appearance. Instead, the most significant changes come from the addition of new parts to its body.[2]
Raguelmon also owes some of its inspiration to Meicoomon's pre-existing angelic Ultimate form, Rasielmon. Since Rasielmon is named after the apocryphal archangel Raziel, another apocryphal archangel, Raguel/Reuel, was chosen as Raguelmon's namesake in order to match; following on from this decision, Raguelmon was designed to be a Fallen Angel Digimon.[2] Given that Meicoomon has been confirmed to have been designed as a relative of Tailmon,[1] the fact that Meicoomon has both an angelic Ultimate and a Fallen Angel Ultimate could be interpreted as having also been influenced by two of Tailmon's own Ultimate forms in various media, Ofanimon and Ofanimon: Falldown Mode.

Raguelmon is the partner Digimon of Mochizuki Meiko.
In "Coexistence", when JESmon arrives in Tokyo to confront Meicoomon/Meicrackmon: Vicious Mode, his appearance inadvertently terrifies her into mutating into Raguelmon. In doing so, he plays directly into the hands of Yggdrasill and the Mysterious Man, as her very existence in this form begins to eat away at the world around her. Despite her extreme state, she still demonstrates some recognition of Meiko and attempts to protect her from JESmon.
Raguelmon engages in a four-way battle between JESmon, the other Chosen Children's partner Digimon, and Alphamon, and indiscriminately attacks all of the other parties. Although she is both powerful and fast enough to continue to evade capture, she is ultimately incapacitated by JESmon's Un Pour Tous, and once Yagami Hikari's Nyaromon Dark Evolves into Ofanimon: Falldown Mode, Raguelmon fuses with Ofanimon to create Ordinemon.

- ↑ Prior to July 12, 2020, Raguelmon's Ankokuiki was called Darkness Zone in the English version of Digimon ReArise. An update that was pushed on this date changed the technique's English name to Realm of Darkness.
- ↑ Raguelmon shares its Ankokuiki attack technique with Apocalymon, although unlike Apocalymon, its version of the technique is named only in kanji, without the "Darkness Zone" 「ダークネスゾーン Dākunesu zōn」 furigana.
That Raguelmon shares a technique with Apocalymon may be a reference to Digimon Adventure tri., in which Meicoomon/Raguelmon is said to have a shard of Apocalymon's data within her body.
