A Digimon patrolling within the Computer Network while floating lightly in the air. Also known as the "Net Keeper", it repels Digimon who try to illegally enter the Network. It is surely a frightening Digimon, as when it judges the intruder to be an opponent, it will repel them with all the attacks it is able to muster, and it is said that if it is driven into a predicament, it will completely annihilate the intruder by blowing itself up. Its Special Move is a super-powerful hand grenade (Deadly Bomb).

Digimon Adventure 02[edit]

Giromon was among the Digimon who were randomly transported to Paris by Oikawa Yukio's Digital Gates. He was an ally of the three Mamemon brothers (Mamemon, Big Mamemon, and Metal Mamemon). In "Coral and Versailles, The Battle Royal!", when Catherine Deneuve and her Floramon attempted to destroy the Dark Tower in France, Giromon protected it and captured them. He delivered them to the Mamemon brothers, who were in the Palace of Versailles.

He returned and aided the Mamemon brothers when they were fighting Yagami Taichi's Greymon and Takaishi Takeru's Angemon. Giromon attacked Angemon in close combat, allowing Metal Mamemon to shoot Angemon from behind. Giromon then used his Deadly Bomb attack on Greymon. But their success was short-lived when Taichi, Takeru and Catherine evolved Greymon, Angemon and Floramon into Metal Greymon, Holy Angemon, and Kiwimon. Holy Angemon attacked Giromon and Metal Mamemon, but they narrowly avoided it. Overpowered, Giromon and the Mamemon brothers retreated. Metal Greymon and Holy Angemon chased them, herding them back to the Dark Tower, where Metal Greymon knocked them all out with his Giga Destroyer attack, after which they were returned to the Digital World.

Digimon Adventure:[edit]

Several Giromon moved to the wastelands before the events of "The Vagrant War Demon, Rebellimon", as it was a perfect place for outlaws like them. They proceeded to fight over territory against other outlaws, such as a group of Tekkamon, and bully weaker Digimon, such as Cutemon before he was rescued by Rebellimon.

In the present, a group of Giromon attacked Cutemon once again, with Yagami Taichi and Greymon protecting him. However, all but one of them were easily killed by Rebellimon once again. The lone survivor then led a group of Boarmon against Rebellimon, though they were beaten by Rebellimon and Greymon. He then escaped, surviving the events of the episode, though wounded from his fight against Rebellimon.
