Manga[edit]

C'mon Digimon[edit]

After Abe Makoto's Hard Armor III defeated an unnamed child's Seadramon, the blond kid pointed out that Hard Armor III could evolve into the hidden character, Metal Greymon. However, it would ultimately not be able to do so as Jousaki Shinichirou and his Deathmon killed Hard Armor III and destroyed its dock, so it would not bring forth a new life. However, after being loaded into Deathmon, its data would allow Deathmon to change into the "ultimate monster", Death Metal Greymon, showing it was genuinely very close to evolving.

A Metal Greymon, alongside other Digimon from Digital Monster Ver. 1, is shown during Abe Makoto's explanation of Digital Monsters.
