Anime[edit]
Digimon Adventure (Movie)[edit]
An Agumon, that Yagami Taichi and Yagami Hikari had encountered, battles a Parrotmon. During the fight it evolves into a Greymon. At first Parrotmon knocks it out but Taichi blows Hikari's whistle (after Hikari ran out of breath) waking it up. Greymon attacked Parrotmon with his Mega Flame before they were returned to the Digital World.
Digimon Adventure[edit]
After falling off a cliff in the previous episode, the Chosen Children arrive on a beach. There, they find a row of telephone booths. After trying to use them (and failing miserably) the Chosen Children decide to have a break and eat some food. While six of the kids and their Digimon are discussing the eating arrangements, Taichi and Agumon decide to eat "a little something," rather than wait for the others.
At that moment, Shellmon emerges from the ocean and begins to attack everyone. They try to fight back, but none of them have any energy, except for Agumon (as he had been the only one to eat anything.) Shellmon takes Agumon's Baby Flame right in the face, but receives very little damage. Shellmon covers Agumon with his paw and wraps Taichi in a head-tentacle. Taichi's digivice begins to glow...
Agumon calls out the word 'EVOLVE' and begins to glow himself. Agumon evolves to Greymon and flips Shellmon. After knocking it over, Greymon uses the technique Mega Flame to send Shellmon flying far off into the ocean.
A different Greymon serving Etemon appears in "Dark Evolution! Skull Greymon". It fights Taichi's Greymon and overpowers its overeated enemy, but then Taichi causes his partner to Dark Evolve into Skull Greymon. The enemy Greymon tries to flee, but gets attacked by the runaway Skull Greymon and is killed with the technique Ground Zero.
Digimon Adventure: Our War Game![edit]
Agumon evolved to Greymon with Kabuterimon to fight Keramon on the Internet. Unfortunately, Keramon warp evolved to Infermon, when Greymon tried to evolve Infermon attacked him and as a result returned to Agumon.

Digimon Adventure:[edit]
Greymon is the Partner Digimon of Yagami Taichi. He first evolves from Agumon in their fight against Algomon (Adult) in "Tokyo Digital Crisis".
The Botamon that Taichi saved in "The Crest of Courage", during Valkyrimon's test, evolved into Koromon, Agumon and Greymon in a row after Taichi tried to save it from a group of Allomon. As Greymon, it easily defeated the Allomon. After the battle, it returned to its previous forms, though it did get its head close to Taichi before.
Live Action[edit]
Digimon Project 2021[edit]
During its fight against Pulsemon in NEW DIGITAL MONSTER BEGINS, after knocking Pulsemon down from the clash of their attacks, Agumon evolves into Greymon. Pulsemon gets back up to fight, with his Tamer rising up his arm in response. A pulse appears, and Pulsemon powers up and charges at Greymon with Elec Rush, cheered up by his Tamer, but is unsuccessful and Greymon wins their match in Digimon Identified Memory.
Greymon and Pulsemon, now Bulkmon, have a rematch in VITAL BRACELET Lab. During it, Greymon shoots a Mega Flame at Bulkmon, who counters with Thunder Dread. Unlike last time, both moves are equal to each other and neither Digimon are hurt. They then rush at each other, but before they can clash, the Battle Arena is covered in the WARNING signs that appeared in the Lab once Palmon's Tamer started the Raid Battle against Black War Greymon, and it goes black, forcefully ending their battle.
Afterwards, in BE STRONG WITH YOU, Greymon and his Tamer face a Greymon (Blue) that appeared in the Real World as part of the Raid Boss Battle. After the battle, Greymon evolves into Rize Greymon to save Bulkmon's Tamer from falling to his death.
Beyond this, Greymon has a few cameos in the eponymous VITAL BRACELET LAB, appearing as an overlay with its data in front of Palmon and her Tamer as well as part of the evolution line of the Agumon Dim Card, as one of the unlocked evolutions in it.
Manga[edit]
C'mon Digimon[edit]
A Greymon named Hard Armor III was Abe Makoto's Digimon. It was extremely strong, as shown by it beating an unnamed child's Seadramon, and the rest of his class believing that it was the strongest with the blond kid pointing out that it might be able to evolve into the "hidden character", Metal Greymon. The reason why Greymon was so strong was that Makoto was not allowed to have a pet so he raised his Digimon as one, which explained why it was so strong since he even kept a diary of its progress and trained it according to that.
Greymon would ultimately die against Jousaki Shinichirou's Deathmon, who went after Makoto as his Greymon was the strongest Digimon in the region even if it was no match against Deathmon. Shinichirou then destroyed Makoto's dock, making sure that a Hard Armor IV could not be born. Greymon's data would then be loaded onto Deathmon, allowing it to change into Death Metal Greymon, the "ultimate monster" according to Shinichirou.
Battle!! Digital Monsters[edit]
Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01[edit]
Seen at the very beginning, Yagami Taichi and Zeromaru battle against Greymon. Zeromaru defeats it, and Taichi marks it down in his record book.
Digimon Next[edit]
Tatsuno Tsurugi has a Greymon as his partner, which he raised from a Digitama. It later devolved to an Agumon.
A second Greymon also appears in the first chapter, under the command of another Tamer, Saitou. This Greymon is much bigger and more ferocious-looking than Tsurugi's, but is nonetheless easily beaten by the first Greymon thanks to his superior speed.
A third Greymon was one of the 99 dragons cut by Zanbamon's Ryuuzanmaru in order to evolve to the Ultimate level[147].

Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01 ~New Courage~[edit]
Agumon evolves into Greymon to fight the Virus Digimon spawned from the polyhedron alongside Zeromaru, who also evolved from V-dramon to Aero V-dramon. In this form, he was easily capable of beating the small fries. However, his Mega Flame proved ineffective against the newly-arrived Belphemon: Rage Mode, which shocked Adventure:'s Yagami Taichi, who tried to have him dodge Belphemon: Rage Mode's Gift of Darkness, but he was still caught in the explosion and devolved to Agumon.
Nyalra × Kaeru DX Sloppy Otaku Talk DX[edit]
Digimon Dreamers[edit]
In "The World of 0 and 1", Tailmon explained that some Digimon were able to draw from the power that slept within their Digicore, including Wizarmon, who could use it for the legendary electric attack, Bolt Break. A Greymon was used for her example.

Digimon Adventure[edit]
Greymon is Yagami Taichi's Partner Digimon. He first evolves into this form from Agumon in Episode 2, "Explosive Evolution! Greymon" to fight Shellmon. Afterwards, he can evolve in-battle by paying 5 SP or start the battle as such by equipping the EVO Boost I DigiPiece. Greymon's attacks are:
- Mega Flame: deals damage to one enemy. Costs 10 SP.
- Bit Fire: deals multiple hits to one enemy. Costs 6 SP.
- Great Antler: deals damage to one enemy. Costs 3 SP.
A separate Greymon is used by Etemon to fight Taichi and Agumon, who had not been caught by his trap unlike the other Chosen Children, in the Colosseum in Episode 21, "Dark Evolution! Skull Greymon". To fight it, Taichi had Agumon evolve into Greymon. However, the enemy Greymon would win the match due to Taichi's Greymon's sluggish movements, caused by eating too much. Taichi tried to force Greymon to evolve so he could win, but his Crest of Courage would not react. He then made himself a target of the enemy Greymon, which Etemon was fine with. This finally succeeded in evolving Greymon, but it triggered a Dark Evolution, so he became Skull Greymon, who then destroyed the enemy Greymon, a part of the Dark Network and a part of the Colosseum with a single Ground Zero.
In Episode 34, "Mammon, the Great Clash at Hikarigaoka!", Taichi remembered the events of what was thought to be a terrorist attack in Hikarigaoka four years ago, when he and Yagami Hikari watched a Koromon, who was now a gigantic Greymon, fighting a Parrotmon, and how Greymon was beaten by Parrotmon, but Taichi got him back to his senses using Hikari's whistle. Taichi then remembered the rest of that day, how a Koromon appeared at their house, and that Koromon evolved into Agumon and Greymon and fought Parrotmon, then they both disappeared. Taichi's own Koromon thought that had to be a different Koromon, though he felt nostalgic when he met Taichi for the first time.
Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]
Greymon in Night Canyon thought something was weird because Were Garurumon, the master of the land, the most powerful Digimon in the neighbourhood after evolving from Garurumon, and Greymon's friend with whom he travelled, was overtaken by the black smoke. After returning Were Garurumon to his senses, Greymon gives Taiga a Chain Melon as a reward, and planned to have a chat with Were Garurumon to travel together again someday.
Taiga can also obtain the Grey Tail accessory, which mimics Greymon's tail, for his Partner Digimon to wear.
Greymon is an obtainable Digimon which is evolved from Agumon, Gabumon, Pico Devimon, or V-mon, and can evolve to Metal Greymon, Skull Greymon, or Metal Tyranomon. It can also be obtained as a collectible card. Its card is part of the Agumon Evolution (アグモン進化 Agumon Shinka) set.
