This card is restricted to 1 copy as of the 2023 March banlist, taking effect on 2023 April 1 (around the start of the BT-13 format). The stated reasoning was: Using this card's effect to reduce the cost of evolution into Digimon with [Greymon] in their names, it's possible to efficiently evolve into [BT12-068 Metal Greymon] and [BT9-015 Metal Greymon X-Antibody], rapidly reducing the opponent's security and massively increasing the speed of recovery from an unfavorable gamestate. Furthermore, its inherited effect provides resistances and causes Greymon decks' ability to counterplay to become much higher than expected. As a result, the breadth of deck choice in the current environment is narrowing, so we have decided to restrict this card to 1 copy. References:
