Digimon Adventure:[edit]

In "Tokyo Digital Crisis", an Algomon (Baby II) quickly evolved into Algomon (Child) and then Algomon (Adult) while fighting Yagami Taichi and Agumon. To fight it and stop the trains the Algomon had hijacked from derailing, Agumon first evolved into Greymon, which gave him the power to defeat his enemy.

In "War Game", another Algomon (Child) evolved into Algomon (Adult) after facing Greymon and Garurumon, and much like the previous one, also immediately evolved into its next stage: Algomon (Perfect) in its Worm Phase.

After trapping Taichi and Agumon in "Contact from the Catastrophe" and greeting him with continuous "hello", several Algomon (Baby II) evolved into Algomon (Child) then immediately into Algomon (Adult), while a separate one evolved into Algomon (Perfect). The Adult ones served the Perfect one, trapping both the real Taichi and several fakes in their vines which Agumon had to cut to save him, but the fake ones were bombs that would hurt Agumon instead. After rescuing the real Taichi, Agumon was able to easily kill all the Adults in his various evolution stages: Greymon, Metal Greymon: Alterous Mode and War Greymon.

Four Algomon (Adult) attacked the Chosen Children's Partner Digimon in "The Great Catastrophe, Negamon". They appeared from the void, and tried to stop the Partner Digimon from getting inside it by continuously shooting beams of energy from their mouths. While they were capable of stopping them from rising, even getting a shot in, the Digimon would be rescued by Komondomon who managed to give them enough of a boost to overtake the Algomon, before falling into the water. Entering the void, Agumon was able to evolve into Greymon, which made it far easier for him to deal with the Algomon. Nonetheless, they were not destroyed by Greymon's Worm Phase. and were then joined by several more Algomon (Adult) inside the void, all of which shot the Chosen Children together. Their attacks were in vain, however, and they were easily destroyed afterwards by Birdramon, Kabuterimon, Togemon and Ikkakumon.
