Yagami Taichi is the lead protagonist of Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01.
Profile[edit]
Taichi is adventurous and loyal to his friends. A V-Pet fanatic, he is a good planner and strategist. Though Taichi works alone, he is a great team worker when necessary, which is proven time and time again by his partnership with his own partner, a V-dramon named Zeromaru. It was revealed the hero of C'mon Digimon manga, Kamon Kentarou, was the source and inspiration for the design and character of Taichi. He was originally intended to be named Jimon Kakeru (時門 カケル), and to be 12-years-old[3].
Card Game Evolution[edit]
Appearances[edit]
Taichi was turned down from a V-Pet battle tournament, as he had a Digimon thought to be a glitch. When he was summoned to the Digital World he learned that 'glitch' was his partner, Zeromaru, who had evolved into a rare Digimon known as V-dramon. He met Lord Holy Angemon, who brought him to the Digital World to help them fight Demon. Taichi agreed, and with Gabou as a tour guide, he and Zero went to explore the Digital World in order to find the five V-Tamer Tags. He faced Etemonkey, the evil Digimon that guarded the Tags. Later on, he met other humans, like Saiba Neo and the Alias III, who all started out as antagonists. After he and Zeromaru defeated Demon, Taichi and the other children returned to the Real World.
