A Transcendent-species Digimon that possesses power over Flame which is said to have surpassed even the might of the legendary Ten Warriors. It is said to bear the power of the nine dragon's veins that flow through Gaia, and it has been prophesied that if it can restrain the might of the nine dragons, it will demonstrate unfathomable ability and even be able to rule Gaia. It is said that, in order to control their power, it possesses the "Ryūgonken" in which the dragon's souls are sealed. Its Special Moves are firing arrows from the "Ryūgonken", whose flames are so intense that they become a white light (Enryūgeki), and releasing the eight dragon's veins dwelling within Gaia, then becoming the final dragon itself and pulverizing the opponent with its greatsword (Kuzuryūjin).

Digimon Frontier[edit]

Kaiser Greymon is Kanbara Takuya's Transcendent Form Hybrid form, which he Hyper Spirit Evolves into by using the ten Legendary Spirits of Fire, Wind, Ice, Earth, and Wood together.

Takuya acquires the ability to become Kaiser Greymon in "Spirits Become One! Takuya and Kouji's Ultimate Evolution!", when Ofanimon upgrades his and Minamoto Kouji's D-Scanners into New D-Scanners, so that he and Kouji (in his own Transcendent Form, Magna Garurumon) can defeat Cherubimon. Subsequently, Takuya regularly uses his Kaiser Greymon form in his many duels with Dynasmon of the Royal Knights.

Digimon Adventure[edit]

Kaiser Greymon is Kanbara Takuya's Hyper Spirit Evolved form. He joins Yagami Taichi as a guest party member in Episode 70, "Dragon Warrior, Kaiser Greymon". Kaiser Greymon can't be controlled, has 9999 HP and infinite SP. He can deal multiple hits to all enemies with Kuzuryūjin, deal damage to one enemy with Enryūgeki, deal damage to all enemies with Ryūgonken, or heal the entire party for 2000 HP with Giga Heal +. He can take two actions per turn and return damage taken with a critical hit thanks to his Continuous Action and Ultra Counter support abilities.

Upon reaching Area 3 of the Digital Dungeon in Episode 70, "Dragon Warrior, Kaiser Greymon"., the group was attacked by the black fog once more which took the form of Kaiser Greymon. Takuya wondered who it was and Hackmon explained it was another fake.

Kaiser Greymon is the 80th obligatory boss of the game, fighting Agumon and Takuya at the end of Episode 70, "Dragon Warrior, Kaiser Greymon". It has the same attacks as the guest Kaiser Greymon other than Giga Heal +. After being defeated, he drops an ATK Boost Ω DigiPiece, which increases the user's attack by 50.

After defeating the War Greymon copy in Episode 74, "Everyone Unite! The Final Battle", Hackmon exclaimed they had no time left then ran into the core, which recreated every copy. Hackmon asked Taichi and Agumon to deliver his message to Gankoomon: that he successfully guided the Chosen Children to the spatial core, then shouted.
