Anime[edit]
Digimon Frontier[edit]
Garummon is Minamoto Kouji's Beast Form Hybrid form, which he Spirit Evolves into by using the Beast Spirit of Light.
Kouji acquires the Beast Spirit of Light in "An Uncontrollable Beast Spirit!? Garummon's Evolution" when, with the assistance of Gottsumon, he solves the puzzle of the "three eyes" of the guardian deity statues. At first, he has no control over his Garummon form and runs wild, but he is able to maintain control of the form in later usages of the Beast Spirit.
Digimon Frontier: Revival of the Ancient Digimon!![edit]
Garummon is Minamoto Kouji's Beast Form Hybrid form, which he Spirit Evolves into by using the Beast Spirit of Light. He takes this form to break up Gryzmon and Dinohumon's fight over Bearmon and Kotemon at the ruins.
Gryzmon later attempts to recruit Kouji into the Beast Digimon army because of his ability to evolve into Garummon.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth[edit]
In the version of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth available in the Japanese Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory and the western Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition, Garummon may be transferred from Hacker's Memory and used. However, since the Beast Spirit of Light item required to evolve into it is still not present in Cyber Sleuth and cannot be transferred over, the player is unable to evolve any Garummons in Cyber Sleuth itself and has no other option to access it except transfer (aside from converting one that has already been transferred over into Scan Data and then Digiconverting it back again).
Otherwise, Garummon only appears as a collectable Digimon Medal.
Digimon World -next 0rder- & International Edition[edit]
