Trailmon Kettle was employed by Sorcerimon as an emergency escape vehicle under Seraphimon's castle. He uses it to aid the Chosen Children in escaping after Seraphimon is scanned.
During the Trailmon race, Neamon pilots Kettle, but falls asleep just before the race begins. Kettle soon falls asleep also causing them to lose the race.

Trailmon Kettle is an inhabitant of Dust Zone, where it helped to steal Taiki's Xros Loader in order to get some fuel in exchange from Grand Locomon. It eventually served as an ally to Xros Heart.[3]
