⇨ Japanese A Beast Digimon with beautiful red and gold fur. In particular, Kakamon's mohawk-like hair is its trademark, which it always takes care of. It inhabits vast areas in the Eastern Digital World, and can be found throughout. It has a cheerful nature that likes singing and music, and when it encounters other Digimon, it proudly goes around making them listen to its songs.
Also, while Pandamon is known to be popular in the Eastern Digital World, many Kakamon yearn for its lone wolf lifestyle, as evidenced by the Pandamon stickers on its headphones.
Its Special Moves are curling its body up into a ball and charging forth (Enkō Kaitendan), and dishing out sound waves by shouting with its well-trained singing voice (Kinshikō).

Kakamon is inspired by the Golden snub-nosed monkey, found in Southwest China, and the François' langur, a lanky species of primate found in Southeast Asia.[1] Kakamon was designed alongside Seiten Gokuwmon, with Gokuwmon in mind, as depictions of the Sun Wukong character from Journey to the West. Sun Wukong was born from "stone", however Kakamon seems to subvert that by wearing headphones, in reference to "rock" music. This motif is seen in other Digimon like Shoutmon. Gokuwmon was introduced during the time frame of Digimon Xros Wars and has interacted with Shoutmon within that series. Fittingly, Kakamon’s mohawk hair is inspired by the "rocker" aesthetic found in pop culture. Kakamon’s partial dogi seems to be inspired by Dragon Ball’s Son Goku, another depiction of Sun Wukong; in specific, the dogi Goku wears in his childhood and early adulthood. Bearing this in mind, Kakamon’s name may double as an allusion to Kakarot, another name that the Dragon Ball character is known by. By evolving from Mococomon in their debut device, the Pendulum COLOR 6 Saiyu Warriors, Kakamon is associated with the Kintoun cloud of Sun Wukong.
