Evolution/Video Games/Digimon World series
Appearances[edit]
Digimon World[edit]
Digimon evolve after reaching a certain lifespan:
- Baby I → Baby II: Guaranteed to occur after ~6 hours pass.
- Baby II → Child: Guaranteed to occur after ~1 day passes.
- Child → Adult: May occur after ~3 days pass.
Baby I Digimon can only evolve into a single Baby II Digimon, but afterwards, Digimon will have several possibilities for their evolutions. Which Digimon they will evolve into, if any, depends on specific conditions they meet, such as their stats, how many moves they have, how many care mistakes they have, how many attacks they've learned, how many battles they've had, etc.
Evolution is one-way in Digimon World. The only exception is Scumon, who can be returned to its previous form by talking to Great King Scumon in Trash Mountain.
Special Evolution Methods[edit]
Beyond the normal evolution lines, some evolutions can be obtained through special means.
- If a Baby II Digimon sleeps in Kunemon's Bed, it has a 50% chance to evolve into Kunemon.
- If a Digimon poops too much outside of the toilet, filling its Virus gauge, it'll evolve into Scumon.
- If a Child Digimon is scolded while having its Happiness at its minimum, it'll evolve into Nanimon.
- If a Child Digimon fails to meet any evolution conditions when the evolution time comes, it'll evolve into Numemon.
- If a Birdramon or a Seadramon has max Happiness and Discipline, then goes to sleep with no Tiredness, it has a 30% chance to evolve into Airdramon.
- If a Drimogemon has max Discipline and Defense, then goes to sleep, it has a 30% chance to evolve into Monochromon.
- If a Shellmon or Whamon has lived exactly 200 hours and gets praised or scolded, it has a 30% chance to evolve into Coelamon.
- If a Vegimon has max Discipline and fights 50 times, then goes to sleep, it has a 30% chance to evolve into Igamon.
- If an Adult-level Digimon is at least 15 days old, has a Discipline below 50%, and is then scolded, it has a 50% chance to evolve into Vademon.
- If the player interacts with the Monzaemon plush in Toy Town with a Numemon as their partner, said Numemon will evolve into Monzaemon. Unlike the previous examples, Numemon can also naturally evolve into Monzaemon.
- If the player brings a Mamemon to the Guardromon who offers to remodel for 2000 bits, there are three possible outcomes:
- "It didn't work": nothing happens.
- "It was successful!": 0,45% chance. Mamemon evolves into Metal Mamemon.
- "It didn't work, but...": 0,11% chance. Mamemon evolves into Giromon.
- Death Evolutions (10% chance of triggering after being defeated in battle):
- Any Child Digimon > Bakemon
- Angemon > Devimon
- Birdramon or Cockatrimon > Hououmon
- Metal Greymon or Megadramon > Skull Greymon
Evolution Items[edit]
Most Adult and Perfect Digimon are associated with a matching evolution item. Using one of these items on a Digimon of a compatible Generation will immediately evolve it into the item's matching Digimon, with no further evolution requirements.

Digimon World: Digital Card Battle[edit]
In the second phase of each player's turn, the Evolution Phase, players are given a chance to evolve their current Digimon card in play. The standard way of performing an evolution is spend a specified amount of Evolution POW 「進化POW」 points, which are accumulated in the Evolution Phase by selecting one card per turn to send to the POW Box 「POW置き場」, to evolve the Digimon card in play into one selected Digimon card of the next Level up. There are many Option Cards that can be played instead to bypass the usual requirements.
Any Digimon card is capable of evolving into any Digimon card that a) is of the next Level up, and b) shares the same Attribute/color.
Evolution cannot usually be undone. The only way of doing so is to use the Option card Devolution 「退化」, which discards the top card of your Digimon and returns it to its previous stage, with doubled HP.
Pocket Digimon World, Wind Battle Disc, & Cool & Nature Battle Disc[edit]
Digimon World 2[edit]
Digimon can be evolved by talking to the Evolution Operator of the player's Guard Tamer team, once they have met the minimum required level:
One level after evolving, the Digimon will learn every technique of their level that their current form, as well as the Digimon that were Jogressed into them, can learn. What Digimon will be born from an evolution is decided by both the previous Digimon and their current EP (Evolution Points).
All forms of evolution are completely one-way in Digimon World 2.
Jogress[edit]
Digimon of the Adult Generation or higher can also be Jogressed through the Evolution Operator.
In Digimon World 2, Jogressing two "parent" Digimon will create one new Digimon, who will be one Generation lower than its lowest-Generation parent. (e.g. Jogressing two Adult Digimon, or one Adult and one Perfect, will result in a Child Digimon.) The newly created Digimon will have a higher maximum level than its parents, based on their own levels, as well as 1 more EP than whichever parent had the highest EP. Furthermore, the newly born Digimon will be able to learn every move of its parents once it reaches certain levels.
Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]
Natural evolution works identically to how it works in Digimon World: Digital Card Battle.
Digital Card Arena adds a new mechanic, Armor Evolution, as an alternative to natural evolution. Armor Evolution is available to the six Partner Cards—V-mon, Hawkmon, Armadimon, Patamon, Tailmon and Wormmon—but requires that the player obtain the corresponding Digimentals for each Partner Card by progressing through the game. If the player has at least one Digimental for a given Partner Card, then as soon as they play that Partner Card on the field, they are given the option to use the Digimental to evolve the Partner Card into the corresponding Armor Digimon with no further cost. However, Armor Digimon cannot evolve any further, unless they are devolved back to Level III (Child) using certain Option Cards and are re-evolved into Level IV (Adult) or Perfect from there.
NPC Digimon who originate from Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 will evolve over the course of the game. Upon evolving, they will have different, stronger decks, and are counted as different characters for wins/losses. The Digimon Adventure 02 partner Digimon specifically have Extra Arenas in which they battle the player using all of their evolution stages. Wormmon does not have an Extra Arena, but he can still be fought in all of his stages except Gran Kuwagamon in Dark City's Battle Arena.
Digimon World 3[edit]
Digimon have two different kinds of evolutions in Digimon World 3:
- Natural evolutions
As a partner Digimon's Level increases, it will unlock the ability to evolve into the natural Adult (at Level 5), Perfect (at Level 20), and Ultimate (at Level 40) forms of its evolution line. For example, this is how Agumon gains the ability to evolve into Greymon, Metal Greymon and War Greymon. - Optional Evolutions
Partner Digimon can unlock additional evolved forms outside their natural evolution line by meeting certain criteria for each evolution, including:- Leveling up one or more of their individual evolved forms to a prerequisite Skill level (e.g. V-mon gains the ability to evolve into Stingmon once its natural evolution, XV-mon reaches Skill level 30)
- Increasing their stats or element resistances to a prerequisite value (for example, one of the criteria for Agumon gaining the ability to evolve into Skull Greymon is a Darkness resistance stat of 130 or higher)
All eight partner Digimon can potentially access every evolved form in the game through optional evolutions.
A Digimon can equip up to three evolutions that they have learned at a time. They can switch between these and their base form at any time in-battle by using a turn, and one form can be assigned as their "Battle Evolution" so that they will start all battle encounters in that form. Evolutions can be equipped and unequipped by talking to Dr. Kadomatsu in the Asuka City Digimon Lab, or to Piccolomon in other locations.
Jogress Evolution[edit]
Certain compatible pairs of Digimon can Jogress Evolve, which in this game just acts as a powerful attack that requires an MP cost from both participating Digimon. It can be activated in the Tag menu, as an alternative to just tagging out, and any Digimon that can be Jogressed with are marked with a red orb icon in that menu. When activated, a cutscene will show the two Digimon Jogressing and performing one technique in their Jogressed form, before switching to the Digimon that was part of the pair that was not in-battle when the Jogress was activated. The majority of Digimon that can be Jogressed are also available as regular evolution options, but there are three who only appear by Jogressing, all of whom are from Digimon Frontier.
| Jogress Evolutions in Digimon World 3 | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Jogressed Digimon | Component Digimon | MP | Effect |

| Diablomon | 260 | Diablomon attacks with Paradise Lost. 999 Power / Physical / No Element / No extra effects. | |

| Omegamon | 240 | Omegamon attacks with both Grey Sword and Garuru Cannon. 850 Power / Physical / No Element / No extra effects. | |
Blast Evolution[edit]
In battle, Digimon have a Blast Gauge that fills up as they take damage. Once it is full, they will immediately undergo Blast Evolution: a temporary evolution into a more powerful form that lasts for several turns. While Blast Evolved, they will have automatic access to that form's Special Move, and all techniques (both Special and loaded) can be used without any MP cost. If a Blast Evolved Digimon is switched out or evolved into another form, the Blast Evolution state ends. Most of the time, a Digimon will Blast Evolve into their next natural evolution that they have not yet unlocked until Level 39, when they unlock their Ultimate form; after Level 39, they will Blast Evolve into other Ultimate Digimon.
Digimon World X[edit]
Digimon World Re:Digitize & Decode[edit]
Similar to the original Digimon World, Digimon evolve after reaching a certain lifespan:
- Baby I → Baby II: Guaranteed to occur after a few hours pass. Each Baby I Digimon can only evolve into one Baby II Digimon.
- Baby II → Child: Guaranteed to occur after a day passes. There are five possibilities for each Digimon, which they evolve into depends on their highest stat and their current weight.
From Child onwards, evolution is not guaranteed and Digimon need to meet a number of criteria to evolve, depending on the Generation they are evolving into (3 for Adult, 5 for Perfect, 6 for Ultimate). Criteria are unique to each evolved form, and can include:
- battle stats (HP, MP, Attack, Defense, Speed, Intelligence)
- Weight
- care mistakes (both can be above or below a certain number)
- Happiness
- Discipline
- number of battles fought
- learned Techniques
- Tamer/Decode level
While evolution is completely one-way in gameplay, for the purposes of the game's story, Digimon can devolve if they use too much energy, at which point they are unable to evolve again at will. This happens to both V.V. (from Aero V-dramon to V-mon, then from Ulforce V-dramon to V-dramon) and Tyranomon (from Rust Tyranomon to Tyranomon) during the Scheme of the Demon Lords chapter. The crossover characters from the different anime series use their own rules and methods; Izumi Kōshirō speculates that the difference in their evolution lies in their different Digivices.
Certain evolutions require specific criteria to be fulfilled before they can be accessed. These include:
- Story progression: Beelzebumon, Rust Tyranomon, Alphamon, Mugendramon.
- Digimon to be returned to the Village of Beginnings: Monzaemon.
- Victories in the Colosseum: War Greymon ("Taichi and Agumon's Evolution!"), Metal Garurumon ("Yamato and Gabumon's Friendship!"), Garudamon ("Sora and Piyomon's Love!"), Magnamon ("Radiance of Miracles"), Dukemon ("Takato and Guilmon"), Lilithmon and Seraphimon ("Angels and Demons")
- Death of a previous Digimon: Victory Greymon (Dukemon), Z'd Garurumon (Metal Garurumon)
If Taiga talks to Great King Scumon in the Underground Waterway Labyrinth, he can turn Digimaru into a Scumon or, if Digimaru is currently a Scumon, revert him into his previous form.
Evolution Items[edit]
| To-do list | |
|---|---|

Most Digimon of Adult Generation and higher are associated with a matching evolution item. Using one of these items on a compatible Digimon will automatically evolve it into the item's matching Digimon with no further evolution requirements.
The items are implied to be left-behind data of dead Digimon. Lili obtains Lilithmon's from her corpse, and several evolution items are found behind Bolt Unlocker doors, prisons, in the DigiTower 70th floor.

NPC Evolutions[edit]
Several NPC Digimon characters evolve during the course of the story:
- During the story, Vitium evolves twice. It starts as Vitium Baby, becomes Vitium Adult before the party meets it again in Signpost Woods, and reaches its ultimate state as Vitium Ultimate for the final battle.
- After being defeated by Vitium Adult, Nicolai Petrov and Sashenka trained for six hours in the Village of Beginnings' Gym. This made Sashenka evolve from Gaomon into Gaogamon. Later on, at some point before the team battle against Rindou Akiho and Kuga Yuuya, he evolved into Mach Gaogamon. For the 40th floor Free Battle: "Let's have a Showdown", he evolves into Mirage Gaogamon.
- Thanks to the Colosseum 20th floor Tournament: "Fighting Spirit!", Akiho regains her fighting spirit, which lets Digitorin evolve from Piyomon into Birdramon. Later on, at some point before the team battle against Nico and Mikagura Mirei, she evolved into Garudamon. For the 40th floor Free Battle: "I'm the Nyanko Tamer", she evolves into Hououmon.
- Yagami Taichi evolves his Partner Digimon, Agumon, into War Greymon for the Colosseum 1st floor Free Battle: "Taichi and Agumon's Evolution!".
- Ishida Yamato evolves his Partner Digimon, Gabumon, into Metal Garurumon for the Colosseum 1st floor Free Battle: "Yamato and Gabumon's Friendship!".

- Lili and Sebastian evolve their Partner Digimon, Catherine the Numemon and Angemon, into Monzaemon and Holy Angemon, respectively, for the Colosseum 30th floor Free Battle: "Lili and Sebastian". They evolve again into Lilithmon and Seraphimon, the former using Lilithmon's evolution item, for the 40th floor Free Battle: "Angels and Demons".
- Professor Petrov's Rize Greymon evolves into Shine Greymon for the Colosseum 40th floor Tournament: "The strongest is...".
- According to Greymon, the master of Night Canyon, Were Garurumon, became the strongest after evolving from Garurumon sometime before Taiga talked to him.
The following evolutions are exclusive to Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode:
- Shinomiya Rina's V.V. evolves from V-mon into V-dramon for the Colosseum 20th floor Free Battle: "No longer a V-mon", then Aero V-dramon for the 40th floor Free Battle: "The Final Showdown!". He returns to V-mon after exhausting his power saving Rina, but recovers his V-dramon form after Rina's Digivice absorbs Lilithmon's power. He evolves into Ulforce V-dramon for the final fight against Barbamon, only to devolve into V-dramon soon after when Demon starts taking Rina's Demon Lord powers.
- Yamato's Gabumon evolves into Were Garurumon for the Colosseum 30th floor Free Battle: "I'm not a kid!".
- Taichi's Agumon evolves into Metal Greymon for the Colosseum 30th floor Free Battle: "Thanks for helping my brother".

- During the Heavenly Hall Free Battle: "We'll put you to the test", Taichi's Agumon evolves into War Greymon (X-Antibody), Daisuke's V-mon evolves into Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode, Takato and Guilmon evolve into Dukemon (X-Antibody), and for the final fight, War Greymon (X-Antibody) evolves into Omegamon (X-Antibody).
- During the Heavenly Hall Tournament: "Legendary Digimon Battle", Yamato's Gabumon evolves into Z'd Garurumon, Sora's Piyomon evolves into Hououmon, Koshiro's Tentomon evolves into Herakle Kabuterimon, Mimi's Palmon evolves into Marin Angemon, Jo's Gomamon evolves into Vikemon, Takeru's Patamon evolves into Seraphimon, and Hikari's Tailmon evolves into Ofanimon.

- The near-dead Mamemon evolves into Prince Mamemon after being healed and revitalized by the Ultimate Herbal Medicine.
- The Tyranomon that Taiga met in the Village of Beginnings evolved into Metal Tyranomon at some point before they met again in the Gravel Wasteland. It evolves once again into Rust Tyranomon to save the world from Barbamon.
- During Taiga's second visit to Wormmon, they go to the Dark Area, where Taiga calls it a coward, which makes it evolve into Stingmon in anger.
- After getting kicked twice by Lili, Belphemon: Sleep Mode awakens as Belphemon: Rage Mode. After releasing its power, it goes back to Sleep Mode.
- After dying, Lucemon's left-behind Digicore becomes Lucemon: Falldown Mode. After absorbing the power of the Seven Great Demon Lords from Demon and Rina, he evolves once again into Lucemon: Satan Mode. After being defeated in that form, he's reborn as Lucemon.
- To stop the Seven Great Demon Lords, Orgemon evolves into Digitamamon, then immediately after that, into Titamon.
- Seadramon's X-Antibody reactivates and it X-Evolves into Seadramon (X-Antibody) after going to the fourth floor of Infinity Mountain.
- After gaining courage from seeing DORUmon while threatened by a Metal Garurumon (Black), Plotmon X-Evolves into Plotmon (X-Antibody).
- Obtaining newfound determination from Kuga Yuuya's words, DORUmon evolved into DORUgamon to protect Plotmon (X-Antibody) from a Magnamon (X-Antibody) copy. After Plotmon falls from exhaustion against a War Greymon (X-Antibody) and an Ulforce V-dramon (X-Antibody), DORUgamon evolves into DORUguremon. A bit later, after losing himself to his programming, he evolves into Death-X-mon. After Yggdrasill_7D6 is defeated, he briefly appears as Alphamon.
- Beelzebumon appears on the 60th floor of Infinity Mountain X-Evolved into Beelzebumon (X-Antibody).
- After activating the first Memorial Stella, Jijimon sends Taiga a mail, telling him the Digimon at the Village of Beginnings were changing, as if they wanted to evolve, and asks him to help them. These include:
- A Botamon in the Restaurant at night who loves the night so much it evolves into Sakuyamon.
- A Bubbmon who wanted to go to the Submerged Ruins gets so excited to do so, it evolves into Metal Mamemon
- A Budmon who asks Taiga to stop Tyranomon, who was charring the meat at the Meat Farm, later evolves into Agumon thanks to the meat Taiga saved.
- A Budmon who wanted to see its grandpa, but couldn't because it went to the Ancient Bone Swamp and a Baby II was too weak to go there. Taiga tells it to evolve but Budmon says it can't, then asks for a Digimushroom. It then evolves into Woodmon.
- A Budmon at the item shop adores Ice-Water Digimon. Upon seeing Taiga's Ice-Water Partner Digimon, it evolves into Yuki Agumon.
- A Bubbmon at the Angel Clinic hates low-discipline Digimon. Being shown one disgusts it, but also attracts it, causing it to evolve into Lady Devimon.
- A Dodomon is exhausted after training and asks Taiga for a vegetable that can help it. Taiga gives it a Super Carrot, which energizes it enough to make it evolve into Gaomon.
- A Dodomon wanted to open its own shop but had nowhere to do it. After Taiga tells it of the Drill Tunnel in the Night Canyon, it evolves into Master Tyranomon to make it its own.
- A Dodomon at the Restaurant wants to stop feeling hungry. Taiga convinces it it's proof that it's alive, so it asks him for three Well Done Meats instead. These make it so full that it evolves into Megalo Growmon (Orange).
- A Dodomon who felt energized thanks to how lively the Village of Beginnings was, which let it evolve into Wanyamon.
- A Gigimon picked up trash for Tonosama Gekomon outside DoReMiFa Mansion for money to buy a Meat Field, then left the job after getting tired of it. However, it hadn't accrued enough money and didn't know how to get more. It then evolved into Gekomon.
- A Jyarimon in terrible pain. Taiga gives it a bandage, curing it and evolving it into Boltmon.
- A Jyarimon wants to see a Digimon that's very strong. If Digimaru is strong, Jyarimon evolves into Death Meramon.
- A Jyarimon asks Taiga to bring Parrotmon back. After Taiga does so, Jyarimon is filled with courage and evolves into Gigimon.
- A Jyarimon wanted to see a Digimon from a Tamer with a high Decode level. It thought Digimaru, who met that criteria, was so amazing it was unfair, then used that as reference to evolve into Metal Garurumon.
- A Mochimon was scared of a life of fighting. After learning Taiga had fought over 200 times, it realized everyone was pushing themselves to their limits and decides to fight like Taiga and the Royal Knights, evolving into Metal Greymon (Virus).
- A Mochimon wanted a cherry-coloured vegetable. Taiga gives it a Cherry Radish which evolves it into Vegimon.
- A Punimon who asks Taiga for food as it's extremely hungry. Taiga gives it a piece of meat, which not only fills it, it also evolves it into Gekomon. Later, it evolves again into Tonosama Gekomon.
- A Punimon wants to see a Digimon that's very fast. If Digimaru is fast enough, Punimon evolves into Grappu Leomon.
- A Poyomon wanted to find a place where it could have adult fun. After learning of the Night Canyon Bar, it stops caring for its own life and evolves into Skull Greymon.
- A Poyomon in the Item Shop evolves into Ikkakumon a few days after Taiga teaches it how to fish. After mastering fishing, it evolves into Zudomon.
- A Tokomon who was training in the Gym to evolve but was too fatigued to do the last push. With Taiga's help, it trains in the Punch Blocking machine once, then evolves into Grappu Leomon.
- A Tokomon who thought it could hear God's voice. After Taiga agrees with it, it evolves into Holy Angemon. After Taiga shows it the Light Fragment from Lucemon, it evolves again into Seraphimon.
- A Tokomon who wanted to evolve into a Beast Knight Digimon becomes Mirage Gaogamon after seeing Taiga's Full Moon Claws.
- A Tunomon couldn't get the hang of a training and wanted a Training Manual to help it. Through merely training in its mind with it, it evolved into Mach Gaogamon.
- A Tunomon who wanted to see heroic battles at the Colosseum and become a Digimon who could fight them got frustrated at seeing Taiga and Digimaru, who got to the 40th floor, then evolved into Saber Leomon.
- A Wanyamon at the Angel Clinic wanted something wild and woody as food. Taiga gave it a Digipine which made it evolve into Gaogamon.
- A Wanyamon at the Gym wanted some Scratchy Grass to recover from its training fatigue. After getting it, it evolved into Renamon. After it loses to Taiga in a hide-and-seek game in the Train Garage, it evolves again into Kyubimon.
- A Yuramon who was amazed at Guilmon's statue and wanted to make one itself. After Taiga convinced it it could, it evolved into Budmon and left on a journey, where it evolved once again into Gomamon (shown through a Digitter message). When Taiga meets it again in Powdery Cliff, it had evolved again into Vikemon.
- A Yuramon who wanted to become the biggest and strongest Digimon asked Taiga for money to buy food. The next day after Taiga gave it 1000 bits, it evolved into Whamon thanks to eating and drinking like crazy.
- A Yuramon really loved cannons. If Digimaru has a cannon, it gets excited and jealous, then evolves into Z'd Garurumon.
Digimon World -next 0rder- & International Edition[edit]
Similar to the original Digimon World, Digimon evolve after reaching a certain lifespan. The process is streamlined and easier compared to Digimon World Re:Digitize, and the amount of time that must elapse before evolving into a given Generation has been reduced.
The Evolution Dojo facility in Floatia provides a number of services that allow the player to directly affect the evolution of their Digimon:
- Grappu Leomon provides information on a Digimon's chances of evolving into its possible evolved forms. Once the Dojo has been upgraded to Level 2, Grappu Leomon also allows the player to block certain evolution paths, which can help to ensure that a Digimon evolves into a specific Digimon that the player desires.
- Paildramon allows the player to perform Jogress Evolution.
- Gran Kuwagamon allows the player to directly modify a Digimon's Discipline, Happiness, Weight, and number of care mistakes, in exchange for a fee.
Extra Cross Evolution[edit]
Extra Cross Evolution 「エクストラクロスエボリューション」, abbreviated ExE, is a temporary form of evolution in which the player's two partner Digimon fuse together into an "Ultimate Digimon that surpasses Ultimate" during a battle. ExE can only be used once per day.
In order to perform ExE, the following conditions must be met:
- At least one partner Digimon is Ultimate, and the other is, at minimum, Adult
- Both partner Digimon must have maximum Bond with the player
If these conditions are met, ExE may be triggered as an Order for both Digimon, at a cost of 150 Order Points per Digimon. There is also a small random chance that ExE may occur when both partner Digimon are KO'd in battle.
In the majority of cases, the Digimon that results from ExE is determined by the Elements of the two partner Digimon:

Jogress Evolution[edit]
Certain combinations of partner Digimon can undergo Jogress Evolution at the Evolution Dojo. When a Jogress Evolution is performed, one partner Digimon of the player's choosing will permanently evolve into the Jogressed Digimon, while the other partner Digimon will devolve by one Generation into their previously held form.

Chapter 4 |
When confronted in Infinity Cauldron, Analogman (possessing Tsuzuki Shoma) uses a process that he calls Altered Super Evolution 「変性超進化」 (Dub: Ultimate Altered Digivolution) to force Omegamon Zwart D into Omegamon Alter-B by breaking its mind. He developed this process after witnessing Yukimura's evolution into Skull Greymon, which taught him that breaking a Digimon's mind could cause the process of alteration to result in Digimon other than Mugendramon. | |
Chapter 5 |
A Keramon evolves multiple times as Takuto/Shiki and Shoma pursue it through Infinity Cauldron. Upon being defeated as Diablomon in the Core, it disappears into Dimensional Dimension M, and by the time Takuto/Shiki and Shoma reach it there, it has evolved again into Armagemon.
After its defeat, it moves into Floatia and frequently switches between all of its forms whilst there. | |
Chapter 5 |
If Takuto/Shiki accepts Imperialdramon's challenge and defeats it in the first round, it evolves into its Fighter Mode for the second round. Upon being defeated again, it evolves again into its Paladin Mode for the third and final round. | |
Chapter 5 |
When first encountered by Takuto/Shiki at Absolute Zero, Lucemon of the Seven Great Demon Lords evolves into its Falldown Mode to fight them. On their second encounter, it evolves again into its Satan Mode. | |

Upon returning to the Roses Palace in Gluttony Wasteland and witnessing the mess that her former minions have made of it, Rosemon evolves into her Burst Mode in a rage. Takuto/Shiki have to defeat her to calm her down. | |
Chapter 5 |
Shine Greymon evolves into its Burst Mode to help defeat Chaosmon. | |
Add-On Scenario: |
The White Fang uses a machine to force Meicoomon to evolve into Meicrackmon: Vicious Mode after the, then banishes her back to the Next Order world (having already been there once before). Takuto/Shiki helps her to return to her original world for the second time, where Meicrackmon defeats White Fang. | |
Add-On Scenario: |
Piemon and Vamdemon are forced to Jogress into Voltobautamon by the Grudgeful Hand, who then possesses it in an attempt to destroy the World. After it is defeated, it clones the body, reverts the duo back to their prior forms, and then has friendly rematches with Takuto/Shiki. | |
