Piyomon is the partner Digimon of Takenouchi Sora in Digimon Adventure and its sequels (Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Adventure tri., and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna).

Profile

Piyomon is the Partner Digimon of Takenouchi Sora in Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02. She is a very friendly and cheerful Digimon, and is rather talkative. She is very childlike and is very attached to Sora.

Digimon Adventure: Anode Tamer & Cathode Tamer

Before the events of the game, the Chosen Children and their Partner Digimon were kidnapped by Millenniumon.

After Akiyama Ryo defeated Etemon, Takenouchi Sora, Takaishi Takeru, Piyomon and Patamon were freed. The Chosen Children then returned to their world, while their Partner Digimon joined Ryo to rescue the others.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena

Birdramon is the fourth opponent in Sage Tower's Battle Arena. Upon meeting the player, she asks him what his purpouse is and whether he's given it any thought, then says that it's time he starts doing so, as there must be more to Card Battle than just winning. Birdramon plays the Preemptive Attack deck, a Red/Flame deck with 4 attack, 2 defense and 3 evolution speed, which is fast and has several 1st Attack cards. Upon being defeated, she tells the player that she's sure he'll find the answer to her questions someday.

After the credits, Garudamon appears in Flame City's Battle Café after beating Yagami Taichi, alongside her partner, Takenouchi Sora. She explains to the player that they met before in Sage Tower, where she was Birdramon. Afterwards, she asks the player how he's doing, and points out that he must've found what he was looking for. She then challenges the player to a battle, pointing out that Sora will not fight him before he beats her, and that she will win if he hasn't improved since Sage Tower. Garudamon plays the Sun Goddess deck, a Red/Flame deck with 4 attack, 4 defense and 3 evolution speed that's well-balanced and uses Recovery cards. Upon being defeated, she's surprised she lost and asks Sora for forgiveness, but nonetheless accepts the battle was fair and holds no grudge, so she's sure he'll have a great match with Sora and wants a rematch herself.

Garudamon later appears as the fourth opponent of Sage Tower's second and third Battle Arenas. Before the first match, she tells the player she's glad to see him again, then points out that the previous battlers could not stop him, but she's not like them and won't let him go any farther. Upon being defeated, she accepts she's no challenge for the player and tells him to continue, but with care as the last two Card Tamers, Metal Garurumon and War Greymon, are stronger than the rest.

Digimon Adventure

Piyomon is Takenouchi Sora's Partner Digimon. She first evolves into this form from Pyocomon in "Adrift? Island of Adventure!" before fighting Kuwagamon, and stays in this form as her base afterwards. Piyomon is a playable character, whose attacks are:

• Magical Fire: deals damage to one enemy. Costs 10 SP.
• Spiral Wing: deals multiple hits to one enemy. Costs 6 SP.
• Piyorin Attack: deals multiple hits to one enemy with a high chance of Shock. Costs 3 SP.

She first evolves into Birdramon in Episode 4, "Red Hot! Birdramon" to fight Meramon. Afterwards, she can evolve in-battle by paying 5 SP, or start the battle as such by equipping the EVO Boost I DigiPiece. Birdramon's attacks are:

• Meteor Wing: deals multiple hits to all enemies. Costs 13 SP.
• Fire Flap: deals damage to all enemies. Costs 6 SP.
• Mach Flight: deals damage to one enemy with a high chance of shock. Costs 5 SP.

She first evolves into Garudamon in Episode 30, "Shining Wings! Garudamon" to fight Vamdemon. Afterwards, she can evolve in-battle by paying 15 SP from Piyomon or 10 SP from Birdramon, or start the battle as such by equipping the EVO Boost II DigiPiece. Garudamon's attacks are:

• Shadow Wing: deals damage to all enemies. Costs 20 SP.
• Fire Hurricane: deals multiple hits to all enemies. Costs 13 SP.
• Eagle Claw: deals damage to one enemy with a high chance of Shock. Costs 5 SP.

After the Chosen Children returned to Subspace from the sea of data in Episode 62, "The Final Dark Digimon", they were taken by a strange light into a new area with six coloured doors, and a seventh door between them with a chain of each colour. Behind the purple door, the Chosen Children found Piemon. Sora and Piyomon stepped forward to take care of him and protect everyone. Piyomon could feel Sora's Love and warmth, letting her warp evolve into Hououmon for the first time.

Afterwards, she can evolve in-battle by paying 30 SP from Piyomon, 25 SP from Birdramon, or 15 SP from Garudamon, or start the battle as such by equipping the EVO Boost III DigiPiece. Hououmon's attacks are:

• Starlight Explosion: deals multiple hits to all enemies. Costs 20 SP.
• Crimson Flare: deals multiple hits to one enemy. Costs 15 SP.
• Life Force: deals damage to one enemy and drains HP. Costs 8 SP.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode

Piyomon faces Taiga alongside Takenouchi Sora in the Colosseum's 1st floor Free Battle: "Face me and my Piyomon". She evolves into Garudamon through Sora's love for the 1st floor Free Battle: "Sora and Piyomon's Love!". She evolves to Hououmon for the Heavenly Hall Tournament: "Legendary Digimon Battle".
