Motomiya Jun is a supporting character in Digimon Adventure 02.
Profile[edit]
Jun is Daisuke's older sister, a spunky high school student. She is very enthusiastic and determined, and falls in and out of love easily. Though it may seem otherwise, Jun is actually very perceptive and has a keen eye. She is a big fan of the Teen-age Wolfs, particularly of vocalist and bassist Ishida Yamato.
She is the best friend of Inoue Momoe, Miyako's eldest sister.
Appearances[edit]
Anime[edit]
Digimon Adventure 02[edit]
She is first seen in "Digimon Kaiser, King of the Darkness", where she approached Ishida Yamato after a Teen-age Wolfs concert and asked him to sign the back of her shirt. When she discovered that Takaishi Takeru, who is there at the time, is Yamato's brother, she requested of him to do the same.
When Yamato, Yagami Taichi and Izumi Koushirou went to camp at Lake Yamanaka to cover for the younger Chosen Children's mission to defeat the Digimon Kaiser, Jun set out to follow them to the lake in an attempt to spend some time with Yamato. Despite several setbacks, such as catching a ride to the wrong campsite, she finally arrived at Lake Yamanaka on the last day of the boys' trip. Because there wasn't enough place in his van, Yamato's father asked Yamato to escort Jun back to Tokyo on the bus.
On Christmas Eve, Jun was in the Teen-age Wolfs' concert with her best friend, Inoue Momoe. However, the concert was cut short by a Digimon attack. During the attack, Jun noticed Yamato saving Takenouchi Sora from falling debris, and realized that they were together. From that moment on, she lost interest in Yamato, though she remained a Teen-age Wolfs fan. But she quickly found a new love interest. On December 26th, Kido Shuu dropped Daisuke off after the latter spent the entire day fighting the Demon Corps, and she was immediately infatuated with the older man.
Jun was in Mikami Canyon with her parents and the rest of the Japanese Chosen's families when the Real World was covered by Belial Vamdemon's darkness.
Digimon Adventure 02: Diablomon Strikes Back[edit]
Though not seen, she is mentioned by Motomiya Daisuke, who has borrowed Jun's cellphone. Her cellphone has a little figurine of Ishida Yamato attached to it.
Digimon Adventure -Beyond-[edit]
Jun became a nurse at some point before Digimon Adventure -Beyond- and worked in the same hospital as Kido Jo and Kido Shin. She got terrified after seeing Archnemon.
