Memorial Stella

The Memorial Stellae 「メモリアルステラ Memoriaru Sutera」 are flash drive-shaped stellae in Digimon World Re:Digitize. They are giant storage devices that record all the data that flows on File Island and in the Digital World. The Memorial Stellae are the months and years that passed in the Digital World manifested as stellae. It is said that if someone can peek inside one, they can control the world's entire data flow, and at the moment the balance of this overwhelming data volume is disrupted, they'll receive an amount of data that normal life simply can't endure. The Memorial Stellae stand inconspicuously in the corners of the Digital World as they peer into overwhelming possibilities and the bottomless abyss of information.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode

In order to return to the Real World and stabilize the Digital World, the protagonists searched for the Memorial Stellae, which had stopped working due to the Garbage Data, guided by Mikagura Mirei who explained the situation to them. Only Taiga could reactivate them due to his unique aptitude, "Decode". After each is reactivated, data is sent to Taiga's Digivice, giving him the full map of the location they're in as well as new glossary terms. Birdramon's Birdra Carrier service can take Taiga to any location where he's been and which has an active Memorial Stella, as she considers them too dangerous otherwise.

1. The first Memorial Stella they found was in Railroad Plains. There, Taiga and Rindou Akiho found Vitium for the first time as Vitium Baby, who attacked them. After defeating Vitium Baby, it disappeared into a distortion and Taiga obtained the Garbage Data it carried, restoring the Memorial Stella.
2. The second was in Signpost Woods. Kuga Yuuya and Mirei got to this one first, where they found Vitium Adult. Taiga, Akiho and Nicolai Petrov soon joined them, but ultimately only Taiga could fight Vitium Adult as it sent Digimon cloaked in a dark aura to stall the rest. After Taiga defeated Vitium Adult and obtained the Garbage Data it carried, the Memorial Stella reactivated. Soon after, another distortion opened in the same Memorial Stella, from which the X-Program dispersed, alongside Omegamon (X-Antibody) and Dukemon (X-Antibody), who were called by Taiga's Decode.
3. The third was in Ancient Bone Swamp. Yuuya found it first, but was stalled by the master of the swamp, Tailmon, cloaked in a dark aura. After Taiga and Yuuya defeated Tailmon, the dark aura left it alongisde the Garbage Data that corrupted the Memorial Stella. Taiga then took it and restored the Memorial Stella.
4. The fourth was in the Submerged Ruins. Before reaching it, Mirei was challenged by its guardian, Mega Seadramon, who thought Mirei was to blame for the Memorial Stella's malfunction. After Taiga and Mirei defeated Mega Seadramon, Whamon carried them to the Memorial Stella, where they found the Garbage Data. Upon taking it, Taiga restored the Memorial Stella.
5. The fifth was in the Underground Waterway Labyrinth. Looking for a signal, Mirei found a berserk Garurumon, cloaked in a dark aura, who attacked her and Taiga. After defeating it, it left behind Garbage Data and the Memorial Stella was restored.
6. The sixth was in Fluorescent Cave. Before Yuuya and Taiga got to it, they were attacked by Monzaemon, cloaked in a dark aura. Defeating Monzaemon made the dark aura leave him alongside the Garbage Data that corrupted the Memorial Stella. Taiga then took it and restored the Memorial Stella.
7. The seventh was in the Gravel Wasteland. While Taiga, Mirei, Nico and Akiho was not searching for it, they nonetheless found it while pursuing Vitium Adult. They were then attacked by Megalo Growmon, covered in black smoke. After defeating it, it went back to normal and the Memorial Stella was restored, with Taiga taking its Garbage Data.
8. The eighth was in the Night Canyon. To protect it, Were Garurumon, covered in black smoke, defeated Yuuya and Black, then attacked Taiga, but was defeated by the latter. This restored the Memorial Stella and Taiga took its Garbage Data.
9. The ninth was in Boncano Volcano. It was guarded by Bancho Leomon, who was overtaken by the black smoke, and defeated Akiho and Yuuya as it thought they were thieves, then attacked Taiga, but was defeated by the latter. This restored the Memorial Stella and Taiga took its Garbage Data.
10. The tenth was in Powdery Cliff.
11. The eleventh was in Binary Castle. Beelzebumon protected it because he knew the power it held and refused to give it to anyone who wasn't worthy. After Taiga and Nico defeated him, he acknowledged them then vanished, leaving behind his Garbage Data and restoring the Memorial Stella.
12. An unique Memorial Stella is in the basement of the Colosseum in the Village of Beginnings. It has no connection with the others and Mirei has no interest in it. Instead, it's used to travel to Infinity Mountain in a separate Digital World.

To search for the Garbage Data 00 and finish the Gospel Structure, the heroes return to each Memorial Stella, where they reminsce about their experiences during their journey. Akiho and Nico go to Railroad Plains, Yuuya goes to Signpost Woods, and Taiga joins them in both. The Garbage Data 00 turns out to be in the Gravel Wasteland Memorial Stella, but it was snatched by a Digimon before Mirei got there.
