Appearances[edit]
Anime[edit]
Digimon Xros Wars: The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms[edit]
Examon is a member of the chivalric order of Digimon that became the DigiMemories. His DigiMemory, along with that of War Greymon, had been stranded floating in Digital Space following the order's defeat and shattering of the Digital World.
In "Bagra Brothers, The Bond of Darkness!", Examon and War Greymon call out from their DigiMemories to Hinomoto Akari and Tsurugi Zenjirou when Bagramon begins the petrification of the Real World, and instruct the two to grab onto the DigiMemories, which are embedded in the barrier between the Real World and Digital Space, to protect themselves from being petrified.
Later, when Akari and Zenjirou reunite with Kudou Taiki and his allies in "Approach! The Human World's Last Day, D5!!", Examon and War Greymon manifest as holograms to speak with the group. As they explain in "Glorious DigiXros, Seize it! Our Future!!", their DigiMemories had inadvertently gotten caught on Tactimon when he traveled to the Real World, but had then gotten stuck in the barrier between the Real World and Digital Space, preventing them from intervening in events until Akari and Zenjirou found them.
They and the other DigiMemories awaken Omegamon's DigiMemory, and the fifteen DigiMemories exhaust their powers to assist Taiki in entering the Dark Stone to save Shoutmon. When the Code Crown chooses Taiki over Bagramon, Examon, along with all the other DigiMemory Digimon, is returned to life, and he contributes to the formation of Shoutmon X7: Superior Mode.

Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]
In "Resemblance? Or None at All? The Disguised Phantom Thief Betsumon", Betsumon uses an Examon disguise to fight Xros Heart. He had kidnapped many dressmakers just to make the one costume.

Hiragana Digimon: A Tale of the Royal Knights[edit]
Examon makes a cameo in the title page of Episode 1 alongside the rest of the Royal Knights.
Examon makes a proper appearance in Episode 3. Wanyamon saw Examon flying in the sky in "Examon". However, Dynasmon warned him not to get too close as his mass was so enormous that time slowed down for everything around him. Dynasmon added that was the theory of relativity, but couldn't explain it when Wanyamon asked him to and just offered to do so at another time. In "Bright Idea", Dynasmon tricked Gran Kuwagamon into getting close to Examon, trapping him in the slowdown so Wanyamon could observe him like a fly. He did it again, this time to Ulforce V-dramon, in "To Catch a Dragonfly", this time with the excuse of getting Examon's autograph, and calling Ulforce V-dramon a "beetle" to Wanyamon afterwards.
