Mugendramon is one of the Dark Masters. He is the leader of the mechanical Metal Empire, and his domain is the city.

Digimon Tamers

In "Evolutionary Radiance: Shining Evolution", a Mugendramon is among the new Ultimate-level Digimon who evolved through Culumon's powers and comes to fight with the Four Holy Beasts against the D-Reaper.

Digimon Frontier

In "Decisive Battle!! Rose of Venus, Ofanimon's Rescue Plan", several Mugendramon are seen in Cherubimon's beast Digimon army in a flashback when Ofanimon is telling the Chosen Children about the history of their conflict.

Digimon Xros Wars

In "Warrior Beelzebumon, Dance!", Lilithmon summons a tamed Mugendramon to lead a Scorpiomon attack on the Pyramid of Revival while Xros Heart is trying to save Baalmon. Mugendramon breaks through the Pyramid's barrier and, when Lilithmon feeds him all of the Scorpiomon, evolves into Hi Mugendramon.

Digimon Adventure tri.

A post-reboot Infected Mugendramon who serves the Mysterious Man appears in "Loss". When the Chosen Children venture into the Digital World, the Mysterious Man uses this Mugendramon to attack and pursue them. It is destroyed by Seraphimon, Hououmon, and Herakle Kabuterimon.

The pre-Reboot Dark Master Mugendramon also appears, with the other Dark Masters, in the opening of "Loss" in a flashback that recounts their first defeat by Himekawa Maki's original group of Chosen Children.

Digimon Adventure:

There are two different Mugendramon in the series.

The first one is a Dark Evolution of Agumon, the partner of Yagami Taichi. In "The Final Stage, Done Devimon", this Dark Evolution is triggered in their battle with Done Devimon when, after both Taichi and Agumon (as Metal Greymon: Alterous Mode) have been tainted by miasma, Done Devimon devours Taichi, which causes Metal Greymon to dark evolve into Mugendramon with fury. He attacks Done Devimon, but is unable to gain the upper hand and is overpowered. He is saved by the intervention of Tokomon, who uses his powers to snap Agumon out of it and trigger a temporary evolution into his true Ultimate form in order to save Taichi.

The specter of Mugendramon is also briefly seen in stock footage used whenever Greymon Super Evolves into Metal Greymon from "Lilimon Blooms" onward.

A real Mugendramon attacked the Chosen Children as they tried to enter FAGA in "The Attack of Mugendramon". It was created by Sephirothmon using the data taken from the Chosen Children's Digimon. It constantly shot Cloud Continent to release the Miasma stored there for the revival of Millenniumon. The Chosen Children's Digimon tried to fight it, but it managed to defeat and absorb the data of Lilimon, Zudomon, Atlur Kabuterimon and Garudamon. War Greymon, powered up by Yagami Hikari's power, managed to defeat Mugendramon though with heavy wounds. However, the FAGA Vademon moved on to the next stage of their plan, shooting Mugendramon's chest into Cloud Continent and overloading its reactor, causing it to explode.

Digimon Project 2021

In "Next Chapter: DIGIVICE-V-", a swarm of Hagurumon appeared after a WARNING sign. They then spun in a tornado, before being blown away by a Digimon that appeared at the center of it: the Raid Boss, Mugendramon. Gammamon and his Tamer then appeared and rushed towards Mugendramon through the swarm of Hagurumon. At some point, they were joined by a male Tamer with Jellymon and a female Tamer, Risa, with Angoramon. Mugendramon then shot its Mugen Cannon at them, but it was blocked by Boutmon. That was followed by portals appearing around the Tamers, which summoned Tamers from all over the world to serve as their Support Attackers. Gammamon, as well as Tamer-owned Jellymon and Angoramon ran forward and leaped towards Mugendramon, and then all the Digimon surrounded the Raid Boss, while themselves being surrounded by the swarm of Hagurumon. With all the worldwide Tamers cheering on, the Ghost Game trio then leaped towards Mugendramon once again.

Digimon Xros Wars

Shademon (as Shademon (Nene Ver.)) Force DigiXrossed several captured Digimon (including a Metal Tyranomon and a Megadramon) into a Mugendramon in "Xros Revolution!! The Guide to Miracles". She then DigiXrossed it with a Chimairamon to form Millenniumon.

Several more DigiXrossed Mugendramon were used by Twilight in "Xros Wars!! Prelude to the End!!".

Digimon Liberator

During his fight against Altea in "Shinjuku Giant", Horaiji Chitose evolved his BT18-015 Chimairamon into BT18-073 Mugendramon, who then inflicted Revert 1 on Altea's Valvemon, devolving it into BT20-058 Hover Espimon. He then successfully checked two of Altea's security cards with Mugendramon. Following from that, Horiji played a BT19-070 Chimairamon through DigiXros, then used it to delete his Mugendramon and Altea's Hover Espimon. This triggered Mugendramon's When Destroyed effect, letting Horiji Jogress Evolve Mugendramon and Chimairamon into BT18-019 Millenniumon.

During the last turn, Horaiji had another Mugendramon in his hand, which he intended to DigiXros into another Millenniumon, but ultimately didn't do so.

Video Games

Digimon World

Mugendramon is the partner of Analogman and the final boss of the game that must be defeated in the final floor of Infinity Mountain. However, after their defeat, Mugendramon and Analogman did not vanish from Digital World but are rather banished to Back Dimension, a place that can be accessed each year by entering the entrance of either Ogre Fortress, Dark Lord Mansion, or Ice Sanctuary. After defeating Mugendramon once again, the defeated Digimon is actually just a transformed wild Digimon. As a result, Jijimon will give the player Chain Melon each time it is defeated in Back Dimension.

Digimon Adventure: Anode Tamer & Cathode Tamer

A Mugendramon and a Chimairamon, previously defeated by Taichi and his friends, are mentioned to have fused unexpectedly to create Millenniumon. In Cathode Tamer's storyline, Mugendramon is a lesser form assumed by Millenniumon, serving as the pre-final boss before revealing its true form.

Mugendramon is an obtainable Digimon. It is exclusive to Cathode Tamer, and can only be obtained on the sixth floor of the third post-game dungeon, which appears behind Gennai's house after reaching a total play time of 20 hours. It requires 400 Digivice points to recruit. When a Mugendramon and Millenniumon befriended by Ryo are deployed together in battle, they can learn Apocalymon's Ankoku Variable, which is the strongest of all damaging Variable Techniques.

Digimon World: Digital Card Battle

After gathering all seven 7s cards, it is suspected that the card that has been causing problems in the Digital World, the Bug Card, is in the possession of Mugendramon, who is peacefully living at the top level of Infinity Mountain. Mugendramon is the final boss of the game. It is a Black Card, but is a Perfect level Digimon card as the Ultimate level did not exist at the time of the game's development.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena

Mugendramon is the fourth opponent of Infinity Tower's Battle Arena. It created an army of machines to destroy everything in the world, and plans to finish the job with its Mugen Cannon. It uses the Machine Empire deck, a Black/Darkness and Yellow/Rare deck with 5 attack, 3 defense and 3 evolution speed, made out of Mugendramon's army of machines. After being defaeted, it enters in panic because Venom Vamdemon would be furious at it being defeated by the player, and it runs away.

Mugendramon is also an obtainable Perfect-level Black/Darkness card whose stats are:

Digimon World 3

Mugendramon is a wild Digimon that can be found in Amaterasu Dum Dum Factory, and is also one of Magasta Royal Guard's Digimon. It can attack twice in a turn with its Machine power.

Mugendramon is available as an Ultimate Red card with 50 AP / 49 HP.

Digimon Story

Mugendramon can be evolved from Megadramon if above level 43, or can be found at Freezing Mountains.

An NPC Mugendramon appeared at Chrome Mine as one of Unknown-D's henchmen. He was ordered to kidnap the Digimon researcher Phil, and captured the Player who came to rescue Phil. He also defeated Dark Tyranomon who came to rescue the player and Phil. Although already an Ultimate level, he desires to become stronger than what he is, but as he has fallen into Phil's trick, he devolved to Skull Greymon by using researcher Phil's Devolve Chip.

During their encounter in Junk Factory, Sue Ann attacks the Player with a Mugendramon, a Lady Devimon and a Parasimon.

Digimon Story: Sunburst & Moonlight

Mugendramon can be evolved from Skull Greymon if above level 55, with 280 attack, and you must have befriended Metal Seadramon, or can be found at Process Factory.

Can be obtained by Jogressing Metal Tyranomon with Megadramon or Gigadramon or by Jogressing Megadramon with Gigadramon if above level 50+, Attack 300+ and you must have befriended Metal Seadramon.

Digimon Championship

Mugendramon can evolve from Mamemon if Machine is 40+ and 5 Egg-Reverts or Metal Tyranomon if Virus-AP is 60+, had 20+ Battles with 50% Wins and 2 Egg-Reverts.

Digimon Masters

Mugendramon evolves from Megadramon, and can evolve to Chaosdramon once the "Hyper Cannon" has been applied to it. It can also Jogress to either Millenniumon or Moon Millenniumon with Chimairamon.

Digimon Story: Lost Evolution

Mugendramon evolves from Metal Tyranomon. In order to evolve into Mugendramon, your Digimon must be at least level 47 with a defense of 170 and an attack of 230, but only once you have revived Mugendramon.

Mugendramon is the 68th obligatory boss of the game, fighting the Chosen Children at the end of Episode 58, "Reunion! Overthrow Mugendramon!". He can deal multiple hits to one Digimon with Mugen Cannon, deal damage to one Digimon with Booster Claw, deal multiple hits to the entire party with Catastrophe D, or increase his defense with DEF Charge. He can take two actions per turn thanks to his Continuous Action support ability. After being defeated, he drops the Giga Heal + DigiPiece, which allows the user to perform the namesake technique to heal all the party for 2000 HP.

Mugendramon is an optional boss fight in Episode 62, "The Final Dark Digimon", obtained if the player got at least 35 points of bond rankings for Izumi Koshiro. Tentomon will evolve for the first time into Herakle Kabuterimon for no SP cost and remain in the form for the battle. After being defeated, he drops a DEF Charge Ω DigiPiece, which allows the user to perform the namesake technique to increase an ally's defense by two stages.

Three Mugendramon serve as the second mid-bosses of the optional Digital Dungeon: η, where they fight the Chosen Children together. Defeating them grants the player one HP Disk XL.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode

Taiga meets a Mugendramon on the 50th floor of Infinity Mountain. It was born there and waited for many years for Taiga, who it then fought. Afterwards, it goes to sleep again because it couldn't resist the flow of infinity. This awards Taiga the Mugen Cannon accessory, unlocks Mugendramon as an evolution for Digimaru, and opens the path forward.

Mugendramon is an obtainable Partner Digimon which evolves from Gigadramon but only after the previous condition is fulfilled. It can evolve into Chaosdramon with the item Crimson Metal. Taiga's Partner Digimon can also wear the Mugen Cannon accessory.

Digimon ReArise

A Mugendramon rampaged in the Digital World, destroying multiple Cities and killing countless Digimon, however it was killed by WarGreymon. As it died, it swore it would come back for revenge when it was reborn.

Another Mugendramon is the Ultimate form of Shinkai Sara's Bakumon.

Mugendramon is the partner of Momotsuka Takuma and the final Virus-attribute evolution of Agumon.

Machinedramon (Mugendramon) appears as a random encounter enemy Digimon in all versions of the D-Tector. The player may add it to their Digi-Database and use it as an ally by inputting the Digi-Digit code DXOA7, or by defeating it in battle (although it being added the latter way is not guaranteed).
