Ice Sanctuary (アイスサンクチュアリ Aisu Sankuchuari), known in Digimon World -next 0rder- as the Frost Cathedral (フロストカテドラル Furosuto Katedoraru), is a temple completely made of ice in the southern part of Freezeland on File Island. In Digimon World -next 0rder-, it's part of Absolute Zero.

Description[edit]

Completely made of ice, the Ice Sanctuary is a sight to behold. To enter and experience its beauty, only Vaccine-attribute Digimon are accepted. Once inside, one can feel the chill coming from within, but can't seem to find where it is coming from. In the middle of the sanctuary is a statue of ice, standing gracefully. However, it seems that the chilling air comes from the statue...or beneath it to be exact.

Digimon World[edit]

The Ice Sanctuary seems to be just a beautiful temple on the surface, but if one were to examine the statue of ice in the middle of the sanctuary, one should find a stairway that leads underground. Training facilities made of ice can be found inside, but if one look even closer, one will find yet another secret passageway that leads to series of warp points. Eventually, their curiosity will bring them to a room where three Digimon are guarding a ball of light. After defeating them, the light flashes and speaks. If one then attempts to leave the sanctuary, then one will find out that the ice statue is gone. Angemon will then descend from the sky and thank you for saving its soul, which it then can be convinced to join the city.

Digimon World -next 0rder- and International Edition[edit]

Mameo states that he and Jijimon banished the Ice Sanctuary from the Digital World he belonged to, and was surprised to see it had ended up in the world of next 0rder - in which it is now referred to as the "Frost Cathedral".
