Digimon World[edit]
He (whose name can be set by the player) is the protagonist the player takes control of in the video game, Digimon World. He owns a red Digital Monster V-Pet, and is sucked into the Digital World through it by Jijimon, who needs him to help save File Island by discovering what is causing Digimon to become more wild, bringing residents to File City, and of course, raising Digimon.
Like a V-Pet Digimon, his partner has a varying lifespan and evolves at certain intervals and eventually dies, leaving behind a new Digitama to raise, usually more powerful than the last with slowly-increasing parameters, but can only evolve as far as Perfect.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]
Upon starting the game and entering his information, the player is given this avatar, which is the only one left. After gaining this form, he enters Digi-Land's Beginner City, starting their adventure. From there, they travel all across Digi-Land, clearing every Battle Arena, in order to reach Sage Tower and become a Battle Master, which they succeed at as Metal Greymon gives them said title after clearing Sage Tower's Battle Arena.
However, they also end up being involved in several incidents in Digi-Land thanks to the guidance of Rosemon, originally a defense program that took Rosemon's Matrix. The first incident is one where Battle Arenas were taken from their original Battle Masters who were brainwashed, namely V-dramon and Garurumon, as well as Great King Scumon whose position was taken without brainwashing. This leads the player to battle against the villains behind this, namely Wormmon and his Partner, the Digimon Kaiser. After facing Wormmon and his evolved forms in the taken Arenas (Jungle City, Igloo City and Junk City) the player finally meets Wormmon at his own arena: Dark City's, where the Digimon fights the player in all four of his stages (Wormmon, Stingmon, Shadramon and Coatlmon) before the Digimon Kaiser himself does. Upon clearing Dark City's Battle Arena, the player manages to get them both to accept their wrongdoings and turn over a new leaf.
The other big incident the player is caught up in is that of a mysterious darkness coming from beyond Sage Tower, from Infinity Tower, where darkness Digimon gather. Originally, the player believed that the Battle Master of Infinity Tower's Battle Arena, Venom Vamdemon, was behind the events, but he found out after clearing said Battle Arena that the true evil that put Digi-Land in danger was the hacker Rosemon calls "A", who illegally enters Digi-Land by taking over Venom Vamdemon's body. The player challenges "A" to save Digi-Land, with "A" thinking it's a waste of time since even if he did lose, they were just playing a card game, not realizing that said card game had a trap for him, sending him into the space of the Net, doomed to forever repeat math equations, though this is accomplished through Rosemon's sacrifice, who had become the player's friend despite his original lack of trust in her.
After "A" is defeated, the player can battle all of the Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 Chosen Children, including the reformed Ichijouji Ken, as well as their Partner Digimon, with the 02 Partner Digimon excluding Wormmon opening their own Extra Arenas with all of their evolved levels. He's also sent by Yagami Taichi to check Deserted Island, where several of the old nemesis of the Adventure children had taken residence and plotted revenge. However, said plans were foiled by the player, who defeated Leomon, Devimon, Metal Etemon and their leader, Vamdemon. Rosemon, not the security program but the Digimon the player originally knew as Babamon, also sends him to Dark City once again, as another gang of troublemaking Digimon had taken residence in, led by another Vamdemon who wanted to raise an army to search for his beloved.
Apart from those, the player is also forced to go to Infinity Tower a few more times, facing other villains that were fought by the Chosen Children before: the Dark Masters, Diablomon and Apocalymon. His final challenges are unconnected to anything his predecessors fought though, instead battling against the powerful unaffiliated Card Tamers Black Metal Garurumon and Black War Greymon, both of which were backed up by the Chosen Children's Partner Digimon, Gabumon (as Garurumon and Metal Garurumon) and Agumon (as Greymon and War Greymon), respectively.

Nicknamed Mameo by Luche due to the Mamemon logo on his black knit cap, he is seen carrying around a Digitama with a dark aura, and has been seen near Digimon turning into Mugendramon. He is suspected to be the cause behind the Mugendramon attacks throughout this Digital World.
