Digimon Adventure[edit]
Before the Chosen Children arrive in the Digital World, Piemon leads an attack on the facility where Gennai and his companions are preparing the children's Digivices, Tags, Crests, and Partner Digimon's Digitama. Gennai escapes with the Digitama and Digivices, but Piemon obtains the Tags and Crests, which are subsequently hidden throughout the Server Continent. These events are shown in a flashback in "The Clashing Ultimates! War Greymon VS Metal Garurumon".
While the Chosen Children are in the Real World fighting Vamdemon, Piemon and the other Dark Masters conquer the Digital World and reshape it into Spiral Mountain. Piemon remains at its summit while Metal Seadramon, Pinochimon, and Mugendramon govern its other territories.
In "The Four Heavenly Kings of the Demonic Mountain! The Dark Masters!", Piemon initially appears before the returning Chosen Children taking a form resembling his Pendulum 3.0 Nightmare Soldiers sprite and introduces the Dark Masters through a performance. He subsequently overwhelms War Greymon and Metal Garurumon with Trump Sword. When Tachikawa Mimi despairs at their situation, he throws a dagger at her, but Tyumon intercepts it and is killed. Piccolomon intervenes and enables the children to escape, remaining behind to face the four Dark Masters, who kill him.
Piemon observes the children's progress from the summit as they defeat the other Dark Masters. After Mugendramon's defeat, he sends Lady Devimon to confront them in "A Woman's Fight! Lady Devimon". Following her defeat, Piemon approaches the group himself. Yagami Taichi and War Greymon remain to hold him off while Takenouchi Sora and Takaishi Takeru search for their absent companions.
Piemon proves to be a truly fearsome and dangerous foe, easily defeating War Greymon and severely injuring him during their duel without taking much of a scratch in-return. Having been snapped out from his dark emotions, Ishida Yamato and Gabumon manage to return to the fray before he can finish the group off, and the power of his Crest of Friendship restores War Greymon. War Greymon and Metal Garurumon then confront Piemon together[2], but Piemon effortlessly overwhelms and defeats both Ultimate-levels anyways by staggering them with some circus equipment and using his handkerchiefs to transform Taichi, Yamato, and their partners into key-chain figurines. He pursues the remaining children through his stronghold, transforming Andromon and the others one by one with sadistic glee until only Takeru, Yagami Hikari, and Patamon remain free. [3]
Patamon evolves into Angemon, but Piemon defeats him and cuts the rope from which Takeru and Hikari are hanging. Takeru's refusal to abandon hope activates his Crest of Hope, allowing Angemon to evolve into Holy Angemon. Holy Angemon rescues the children, drives Piemon back, and restores his victims with Holy Disinfection.
Piemon summons an army of Evilmon, but Mimi arrives with the Digimon allies she has gathered. While their allies fight the Evilmon, the partner Digimon confront Piemon. Holy Angemon opens Heaven's Gate, and War Greymon and Metal Garurumon force Piemon into it with Gaia Force and Garuru Tomahawk, sealing him in another dimension.
Following his defeat, Gennai explains that the Dark Masters obtained their power from the distortions affecting the Digital World, and that the source of those distortions remains.
Digimon Adventure tri.[edit]
Piemon appears alongside the other Dark Masters in the opening flashback of "Loss". They overwhelm the partner Digimon of the original Chosen Children, including Himekawa Maki and Nishijima Daigo. However, Homeostasis intervenes, and four of the partners evolve into the Four Holy Beasts, who defeat the Dark Masters.

Digimon Adventure: Anode Tamer & Cathode Tamer[edit]
Piemon is revived by Millenniumon and becomes one of his servants. Akiyama Ryo confronts and defeats him in Piemon's Palace. He subsequently fights Ryo again alongside a Meramon during the series of battles in Millenniumon's Lair.
Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]
Piemon appears in Infinity Tower's Battle Café after Izumi Koshiro, and therefore, all the Adventure Chosen Children, have been beaten by the player. In it, he tells the player that he looks energetic, and is then questioned by the player on what he's plotting. Piemon answers that he isn't plotting anything, and that a kid like him couldn't understand, as he's trying to give the world something that it's missing. He then tells the player to come to his Arena if he wants more information, promising he'll learn all he wants. This reopens Infinity Tower's Battle Arena, which has otherwise been closed since "A" was defeated.
Piemon is the last opponent of Infinity Tower's third Battle Arena, and the second of the fourth and fifth. Before the first battle, he congratulates the player on getting to him but also says he'll stop him there, as while he's generous to kids, he doesn't want the player getting in his way. He tells the player that the world is missing true evil, and that's what he is. Furthermore, the player reminds me of some children he met in the past, so he'll destroy him. Piemon plays the Four Heavenly Kings Assault deck, a Blue/Water, Black/Darkness and Yellow/Rare deck with 5 attack, 3 defense and 3 evolution speed that's full of Dark Masters. Upon being defeated, he exclaims that he can't believe another kid has foiled his plans, but he'll return, and his ambitions will never cease, so their battle will continue forever. The Battle Arena closes down again afterwards.
After clearing Infinity Tower's fifth Battle Arena, Piemon can be fought in the Battle Café. Beating him five times in a row will award the player the Dark Sevens card.
Digimon Tamers: Digimon Medley[edit]
Digimon Adventure[edit]
Piemon is the leader of the Dark Masters and commands the Nightmare Soldiers. The game retells his confrontation with the Chosen Children, including his attack on Gennai's facility and his eventual defeat at the summit of Spiral Mountain.
In Episode 49, "The Four Dark Masters", Piemon introduces the Dark Masters and defeats War Greymon and Metal Garurumon. He kills Tyumon when he protects Tachikawa Mimi, then confronts Piccolomon, who stays behind to allow the children to escape.
After Lady Devimon is defeated in Episode 59, "Catfight! Lady Devimon", Piemon confronts the children personally. In Episode 61, "The Clown from Hell, Piemon", he fights them in three successive boss battles. Between battles, he transforms the children and their partners into dolls, until Patamon evolves into Holy Angemon and restores them.
Piemon uses Trump Sword, Ending Snipe, and Toy Wonderness, and can strengthen himself with Fighting Spirit or Focus. His Continuous Action support ability allows him to act twice per turn. The three battles award the Barrage, Healthy Child, and 2x Action DigiPieces, respectively.
After the final battle, Holy Angemon opens Heaven's Gate, and War Greymon and Metal Garurumon force Piemon into it.
Piemon also appears as an optional boss behind the purple door in Episode 62, "The Final Dark Digimon", if Sora has obtained at least 35 bond ranking points. Sora and Piyomon face him, with Piyomon evolving into Hououmon for the first time. Defeating him awards the Ultra Counter DigiPiece and removes the purple door and its corresponding chain.
