An Ice-snow Digimon whose body is covered in snow and ice crystals. Contrary to its cold appearance, it has a very warm, gentle personality. As a Digimon that melts the hearts of those who see it with its calm movements and sweet behavior, Yukidarumon hates fighting by nature. Among the battle-loving Digimon, it dreads Meramon in particular. Its Special Move is "Zettai Reido Punch", which it fires from its large body.

Digimon Adventure[edit]

Yukidarumon is one of the Digimon on File Island. He fell under the control of one of Devimon's Black Gears that embedded itself in his back. He unwillingly battled Yagami Taichi and Agumon until Taichi kicked Agumon under Yukidarumon, so he could destroy the Black Gear on his back, a move Taichi called "Ace Striker Miracle Kick", freeing Yukidarumon from the Black Gear's control.

Yukidarumon thanked Taichi and told him that he had seen another kid (Ishida Yamato) and a Gabumon on another island. He then created an ice bridge to aid Taichi and Agumon in reaching the island. When they arrived, Yukidarumon suggested they start their search in the forest, where they found Yamato and Gabumon. They then discovered that Gabumon had caught a cold, so Yukidarumon left to look for herbs and grass to cure it. He found them but was rejoined with them sooner then he had expected when they fell off of a cliff, as a result of Taichi and Yamato fighting each other than being attacked by Mojyamon under the control of a Black Gear, and landed on him. Yukidarumon gave them the herbs and grass. Mojyamon leapt off of the hill after them and Yukidarumon intervened knocking Mojyamon against the cliff but Mojyamon recovered and charged him again. Yukidarumon threw an Zettai Reido Punch at him but Mojyamon avoided it and grabbed Yukidarumon by the arm and threw him followed by attacking with his Hone Hone Boomerang but Yukidarumon, as well as Taichi and Yamato, ducked, narrowly avoiding it. Taichi and Yamato evolved Agumon and Gabumon into Greymon and Garurumon. Mojyamon attacked again with his Hone Hone Boomerang but Garurumon caught it in his mouth and crushed it. Greymon attacked with Mega Flame but Mojyamon jumped out of the way and kicked Greymon off of his feet. Yukidarumon grabbed Mojyamon from behind, holding him in place so Greymon could use his Mega Flame again to destroy the Black Gear, freeing Mojyamon.

Yukidarumon was among the Digimon who helped build a raft for the Chosen Children after the defeat of Devimon and among the Digimon who aided the Chosen Children in fighting Piemon's Evilmon.

Digimon Adventure 02[edit]

Ichijouji Ken, as the Digimon Kaiser, took control of several Yukidarumon using Evil Rings and used them to defend a Dark Tower in an arctic region. However, having build a snow sled the younger Chosen Children and Kido Jou were able to move fast enough that the Yukidarumon's reflexes were too slow to hit them, allowing them to destroy the Dark Tower while V-mon distracted them by evolving into Fladramon.

A Yukidarumon is the partner of the American Chosen Child, Steve.

The Player will then wake up inside Yukidarumon's igloo, who has saved the Player and its Digimon, then scolds the Player for its impertinence and won't join the Village of Beginnings until the Player brings a Digimon that resists the cold. If done so, Yukidarumon will join the Village in the Restaurant along with Meramon, Tyranomon, Garurumon, Vademon and Digitamamon. If none of the aforementioned Digimon was recruited, Yukidarumon will build the Restaurant. An easier way to sicken the Digimon is to bring a Moldy Meat that can be obtained by a vending machine in the Ancient Dino Region and feed it to the Digimon.

Digimon Adventure[edit]

Yukidarumon first appears in Episode 12, "Clash! The Freezing Digimon". He attacks Yagami Taichi and Agumon after they find some post boxes. Agumon immediately realizes he's being controlled by a Black Gear.

Yukidarumon is the tenth obligatory boss of the game, fighting Agumon at the end of Episode 12, "Clash! The Freezing Digimon". He can deal damage with Zettai Reido Punch, deal multiple hits with Yukigassen, and deal multiple hits and Shock with Ice Breath.

After he's beaten, Yukidarumon returns to his senses, wondering why he was rampaging. After asking Taichi if he was hurt, he pointed out that he saw another human, which Taichi realized meant Ishida Yamato, and a Gabumon fall on a nearby island. Since Taichi and Agumon could not get there on their own, he offered to help them by freezing the water to make an ice bridge as a way to thank them.

Yukidarumon reappeared in Episode 14, "Attacked! The Frozen Mojyamon!", where he told Taichi and Yamato that the island was moving, which was caused by Garurumon using his Fox Fire on the Black Gears hidden in the island, causing them to run backwards. Taichi soon realized that they were going back to Infinity Mountain, which gave Yamato hope that they would find Takaishi Takeru there.

Leomon, Mojyamon, Yukidarumon, Meramon, Elecmon and Centalmon offered to help the Chosen Children reach Server Continent in Episode 19, "Departure – to a New Continent!". The Chosen Children found Meramon and Yukidarumon deep into the forest, arguing on who was the rightful owner of a DigiPiece Yukidarumon found, but Meramon called dibs on due to climbing the tree where it originally was. They then forced Taichi to decide who should keep it. Regardless of who Taichi chooses, they decide to give the DigiPiece to him, but said DigiPiece changes due to their holder. If Meramon is chosen, Taichi will recieve an ATK Boost III DigiPiece, while if Yukidarumon is chosen, Taichi will receive a DEF Boost III DigiPiece instead. If talked to again, Yukidarumon complains about the climate being too hot, while Meramon thinks it's colder than usual instead, which makes Taichi think that being differently-typed Digimon must be hard.

A Yukidarumon serves as the third and fight for the Chosen Children in the Colosseum's DigiOne Grand Prix in Sub-Episode 10, "DigiOne Grand Prix", alongside a Meramon and an Elecmon. It can use the same attacks as the previous Yukidarumon.

Taichi and Koromon see a Yukidarumon in the news in the Real World in Episode 25, "Koromon, the Great Clash in Tokyo!", apparently the cause of unending snow in America.

A Yukidarumon, a Cockatrimon and a Monzaemon ordered food from Vegimon in Vegimon's Restaurant in Episode 27, "Oh Friend! Were Garurumon".

Yukidarumon and Meramon joined Kido Jo and Tachikawa Mimi's alliance against the Dark Masters prior to Episode 60, "Fight with Darkness". He joined Gekomon and Otamamon in getting Mimi food. They found her food and cola, though the latter wasn't cold, but Yukidarumon fixed that issue and Meramon started a fire and cooked the food, making Orgemon realize how useful they were.

After Piemon summoned a group of Evilmon to surround the Chosen Children in Episode 61, "The Clown from Hell, Piemon", they were all blown away by a Haouken from Orgemon, who had arrived alongside Gekomon, Otamamon, Yukidarumon, Meramon and Elecmon. Orgemon was excited to take the Evilmon on, to Piemon's anger. The group decided to take on the small fries themselves while the Chosen Children dealt with Piemon.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]

After Taiga yells in Powdery Cliff, both him and Digimaru end up getting covered in snow and looking like snowmen. Yukidarumon then appears, thinking they're unfamiliar Yukidarumon themselves. Happy at meeting someone else like it, it explains that it left the Village of Beginnings because it couldn't stand the heat. After Taiga mocks it for being unable to tolerate it, Yukidarumon goes back to the Village of Beginnings to prove him wrong, but not before telling him that he can cross the canyon by merely walking through an invisible path. This also awards Taiga the Yukidaruman medal. Yukidarumon then stays in Jijimon's basement, still complaining about the heat and confused as to how the other Yukidarumon could take it.

Another Yukidarumon in Powdery Cliff asks Taiga what he's doing as he buys a drink for Vikemon. After Taiga explains this to it, Yukidarumon asks him to take it to the artist. However, Yukidarumon is disappointed at how weak Vikemon's ice looks so it offers to cool it down to absolute zero. Vikemon then realizes they can do the impossible together. They both thank each other and go for it, ready to finish their bridge in three days.

Yukidarumon is an unobtainable Digimon.
