The Bagra Army (バグラ軍 Bagura-gun), also known as the Bagra Empire (バグラ帝国 Bagura-teikoku), the New Bagra Empire (新生帝国バグラ Shinsei Teikoku Bagura), the Bagra Imperial Army (バグラ帝国軍 Bagura Teikoku-gun) and the Imperial Army (帝国軍 Teikoku-gun), and sometimes romanized as the Bugra Army[1], is a Digimon Army led by Bagramon in Digimon Xros Wars. Its initial objective is to conquer the Digital World by gathering its Code Crowns. After obtaining them and reorganizing the Digital World into the Lands, the army seeks to gather the negative energy needed for Bagramon's D5 plan.
Because of the Bagra Army's size and operations across the Digital World, Emperor Bagramon delegated authority through a chain of command that includes Admiral Dark Knightmon, the Three Head Officers, the seven Death Generals and the human General Amano Yuu. Field commanders operate under their authority. Their forces occupy different parts of the Digital World and repeatedly clash with Xros Heart and Blue Flare. The army's organization and membership differ between the anime and manga continuities.
Description[edit]
The Bagra Army is a large military organization comprising numerous Digimon and commanders with their own subordinate forces. Bagramon directs its overall campaign, while the Three Head Officers and other officers oversee operations against opposing armies and the inhabitants of the Digital World. Its forces occupy Zones and pursue the Code Crowns needed to bring the Digital World under Bagramon's control.
Once the Code Crowns have been assembled, Bagramon reorganizes the Digital World into seven Lands. Each is ruled by one of the Death Generals, who gather the negative energy required for D5. The army also incorporates Digimon and factions with differing loyalties: some serve Bagramon's plans willingly, while others eventually defect or oppose him.

Digimon Xros Wars & The Evil Death General and the Seven Kingdoms[edit]
The Bagra Army launches campaigns throughout the Digital World to obtain its Code Crowns. Its forces repeatedly confront Taiki and Xros Heart, beginning with Mad Leomon's attack in Green Zone. As Xros Heart travels between Zones, it encounters other commanders and occupying forces acting on behalf of the army.
After Bagramon obtains the Code Crowns, he transforms the Digital World into seven Lands and places a Death General in charge of each one. Their operations supply the negative energy needed for D5. Xros Heart and Blue Flare oppose the Death Generals and eventually unite against Bagramon.

Manga[edit]
Digimon Xros Wars[edit]
The manga depicts a separate version of the Bagra Army led by Bagramon. It retains figures such as the Three Head Officers and Dark Knightmon, but its history, membership and Bagramon's plans differ from those of the anime. In the manga, Bagramon explains that he formed the army by restoring the data of Digimon recorded in Yggdrasill's mainframe and giving them temporary souls.
