A Zone (ゾーン Zōn) is the equivalent of a country in the Digital World in Digimon Xros Wars. There are 108 Zones in total, each with a Code Crown that represents it.

In "Glorious DigiXros, Seize it! Our Future!!" it was revealed that the Zones were created when the Digital World broke up. This was caused by the advancement of human digital technology, which brought the two worlds closer and closer together, creating an energy that caused distortions in the core of Digital World. The impact of the collapse turned all the knights who opposed Bagramon into DigiMemories.

When Bagramon reclaimed the 108 Code Crowns, he reformatted the Digital World into eight Lands.
