A Salamandamon turned several humans into human geckos in "Wall Crawlers" and used them to steal diamonds to eat them. After a stealing attempt was foiled by Amanokawa Hiro and Gammamon, Salamandamon followed them back to Hiro's house and turned Tsukiyono Ruli into a human gecko. Higashimitarai Kiyoshiro set up a trap by using Higashi-Izumi University, which was researching diamonds, as bait, with Ruli serving as proof that Salamandamon was going to steal from there, from which they could follow the human geckos back to it. The plan worked, but Salamandamon used the human geckos as shields before Tesla Jellymon knocked them out. Afterwards, Betel Gammamon jumped on Salamandamon and overpowered it. Fearing for its life, Salamandamon returned every human to normal, and Hiro offered to give it pencils to eat since they had graphite.
