Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]

During the fight against Superstarmon in "A Targeted Taiki! The Super Celebrity-star's War Cry!", Hinomoto Akari suggests that Kudou Taiki DigiXros Shoutmon into Shoutmon X4 in order to destroy Superstarmon's barrier using X4's sword. However, due to the Digimon Hunt's rules, a Digimon Hunter could only DigiXros two Digimon at a time. To circumvent this issue, Taiki sent Ballistamon and Dorulumon to Amano Yuu's Xros Loader, and then they performed a Double Xros to bring forth X4, who easily cleaved apart Superstarmon's barrier, allowing Yuu and Tuwarmon to capture him.

Manga[edit]

Digimon Xros Wars[edit]

Shoutmon X4 is the DigiXrossed form of Shoutmon, Ballistamon, Dorulumon and the Starmons, all members of Xros Heart. It was first seen, unnamed, in Kudou Taiki's dream in "Xrosroad!! The Boys' Paths Cross", where he saw the events that would happen in "Xros World!! The Secret of the Two Worlds!?".

Shoutmon X4 was formed for the first time in the present in "Xros Pride!! A Warrior's Pride!!" to fight against Greymon and Mail Birdramon after Tsurugi Zenjirou made Aonuma Kiriha drop his Xros Loader so they couldn't DigiXros into Metal Greymon. In this form, he was unaffected by their attacks and could defeat them in a single Burning Star Crusher, which dealt more damage to Greymon than Tactimon could before.
